Luke 17:11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
17:12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
17:13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
17:14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
17:15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
17:16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17:17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
17:18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
17:19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
These verses tell us that as Jesus as he was passing through the mist of Galilee and Samaria he met 10 lepers. They wouldn't come near him but cried unto him from afar saying Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed... As they were going as he commanded them to shew themselves to the priest they were cleansed... The scripture further states only one of them who was a Samaritan when he saw he was healed, turned back and with a loud voice glorified God, falling at the feet of Jesus... Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?... None returned after they were healed save this Samaritan who Jesus said... Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole... What happen to the others and what did they attribute their healing to?... Because he was a Samaritan was that also another reason why he was the only one to return?... Your Comments!... Brother Glen
