or OBAMACARE as it's popularly known.

http://www.cbo.gov/ftpdocs/104xx/doc10431/07-02-HELPltr.pdf

Check out this paragraph on page 4.....

...we have not yet estimated the administrative costs to the federal government of implementing the specified policies,...nor have we accounted for all of the proposal's likely effects on spending for other federal programs...

Well the democrats/Fascists are already killing off the unborn, now they are ready to start on the old folks.

Are you volunteering?

So much hyperbole is dangerous to your remaining mental health!

The most important thing the American citizens face today personally is the need for universal health care. This time hopefully it will pass; there just isn't enough republicans to stop it (thank you Al Franken)!

Here's a classic example of the failure of the liberal mindset. You think the most important thing, personally, to the American citizen is health care.

On the other hand, I think think the most important thing, personally, to the American citizen is to be saved through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ (thank you Jesus)!

Momma used to say- and still does (in spite of surviving cancer with no national health plan)- "Be careful what you wish for!"

Now I need to wash my mind out with the Bible because I read that name. GAG!

Come on Matt! I expect better from even you!

You know I was talking about things concerning health care. If every person in the U.S. was saved through a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ it would be wonderful! But we know this isn't going to happen.

Absolutely. So when are you giving up your health insurance and giving the savings to missionaries?

Your statement said, "The most important thing the American citizens face today personally...". It did not say, "The most important thing the American citizens face today in regards to health care...".

So, no, it wasn't very obvious that you were talking about health care. From your statement I can only gather that you were talking about the most important thing personally for each American citizen. As I said, that is a saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Who says I have health insurance? I don't think I ever mentioned anything to (the poster formally known as) JustChristian about my health insurance status, so how would you know?

The problem has never been defined!

1. IS EVERY CITIZEN ENTITLED to every possible treatment available, experimental or conventional, which will extend his life as long as he desires? If not, then what are the limits of the government's obligation? FOR EXAMPLE, do prisoners on death row get the same treatments and care as the president? If not, what are the limits of care for each class of citizen?

2. IF THE GOVERNMENT IS OBLIGATED to pay for the above defined treatments, then is the government obligated or even permitted to limit its exposure and risk? FOR EXAMPLE, may the government regulate and limit dangerous activities and life styles of the citizens? Smoking, drinking, fatburgers, seat belts, motor cycles, fire arms, ORVs, mountain climbing????????????

The government under the current constitution is not obligated to cover even the basics of health care.

Only someone with the mentality of Al Franken would not understand that socialized medicine leads to euthanasia through rationing and eventually to forced euthanasia as in Holland. But if you have no qualms about killing the unborn why worry about killing the elderly. Just where do you fit in Snow? I suspect from the tenor of your posts that is evident to most on this "Christian" Forum.

Who knows, if the Obama depression gets bad enough the fiction of "Soylent Green" may become reality.

When the government throws out the Constitution they can do anything, particularly if they have a Fascist/Marxist mindset like the democrats in Washington led by Fascist/Marxist Obama.

If you control health care then you control the population level. And the Dems are all about population control. Its what saves the planet.

I support a person's right to die with dignity rather than live for years in pain. If you don't, so be it, I don't care. If and when you face this scenario you can decide for yourself. Allow me the same rights.

OldRegular made a statement about euthanasia, I commented on his statement. You just don't like what I said!
