How true. Now, are you praying for:
  • us to weather this coming storm?
  • God to be glorified as the wicked are confounded?
  • a great awakening with a great harvest of souls?
Or are you one of those who is just praying that the state would just slip into the Pacific?
If the crazies that run your state figure out there's a loophole, they'll try to close it. Watch out!

To be honest, I hope half the state falls into the Pacific. Hope you and your family are in Florida when it happens. California is social poison. It has leaked into and ruined Colorado.

Depends on the day. :D

But I do pray for the Christians that inhabit a place that is on the cutting edge of destroying Christianity in America.. You'll have to be made of stern stuff to "weather the storm". God be with you.

I am a second generation Californian on my mother's side and third generation Westerner. None of my grandparents were born East of the Mississippi. Currently, I have no close kin living East of Pheonix, AZ. So, why would I want to cut and run? I am in the place of God's calling where else could I be safer?

I never expected you to cut and run. I expect you to "weather the storm".

With God's help and protection.

You may not. But over the years, I come across many who:
  • lionize Adoniram Judson, William Carey, et al.
  • have no problems with supporting their offspring and other as they go off to a Third World mission field.
But, if someone dares to posit that God has called them to California. It's:
  • Why are you going to Babylon\Egypt?
  • Your family won't be safe there.
  • No Christian would want to live in California.
  • No, we won't support the planting of churches in such a heathen environment.
  • Flee Babylon.

I never expected you to cut and run. I expect you to "weather the storm".

With God's help and protection.

I was very blessed visiting your church last year God bless you all in your stand for the Gospel.
"But I tell you truly, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah.......but to none of them was Elijah sent except to Zarephath in the region of Sidon, to a woman that was a widow" (Luke 4:25-26).

The point here is that Sidon was actually the home region of Jezabel and the very centre of Baal worship (1 Kings 16:31). Yet God sent Elijah there to save one Sidonian woman. God has many more people in San Francisco and California, and the good Squire has been placed there to save them.
