Let's just fight it out on Main Street at high noon. Actually it was 3 in the afternoon at the OK Corral.

Fight what out? Say someone comes up to you or you daughter and starts punching you or her in the face. What you gonna do? Call 911? I bet you would start punching back.....

The young student was tortured & killed......care to send your kid to NJIT?
Oh, Your saying the kid could have had a legal gun and protected himself if not for the NJ gun laws? True, and look who did have a gun, even though it wasn't "allowed".

A kid just coming out of high school where he got good grades and a promising future goes to NJIT (Institute of Technology) building in Newark a little early so he walks across the street to a 711 to get beverage prior to class. While in the store a miscrient accosts him and with an illegal hand gun proceeds to shoot off both the kids hands off then he kills the kid.

May I ask ... you know what, you draw your own conclusions.

I will

In the first place New Jersey laws run contrary to the constitution as far as guns are concerned. Thugs like the one I mentioned will terrorize communities w/o police having the wherewithal to catch them. This poor kid became the perfect victim of this "No Guns" laws....which again, are unconstitutional.

The larger issue is the sanctity of life. As Christians we should support that because all human life is precious to God, born and un-born.
Yes, that is the larger issue. But often people go about this wrong by attacking micro-issues within the larger context. Here, not supporters of life but opponents of the GOP attack one area where Republicans support the sanctity of life in order to highlight areas believed to be deficient.

The argument belongs outside of the political arena because the solution resides outside of politics because as it stands they are merely political pawns. The DNC is probably the most ungodly political organization that this nation has ever faced. Unfortunately the GOP is not far behind.

The solution simply does not reside in politics. Christians should support godly policies, regardless the political affiliation of those policies.

What are you doing? Mixing a historical incident with a fictional movie? Do you think Will Kane should have turned quaker to suit his new bride when he knew the ruffians were coming for him and no one would help? And should the Earp brothers have thrown down their weapons and said "Boys nothing can be solved with guns"?

I agree that Christians should support correct moral decisions but the country is so split right now there's no longer even a reasonable discussion. Actually I believe there are both good and bad representatives in both parties but the practice of voting along party lines nullifies.
