No. God works repentance (Heb 6:6) into the non-elect's life by giving him a new heart (1Sam 10:9) - enlightening him (Heb 6:4) and washing him once (2Pet 2:22). He's expected and commanded to continue in faith to the end in order to receive eternal life (Heb 3:14, Matt 24:13), but equally is warned of the consuming fire destroying him without mercy (Heb 10:27-28) if he were to walk away in unbelief. No longer ignorant, having been supernaturally enlightened by God, if this non-elect man were to go back to the mud (2Pet 2:22) deliberately (Heb 10:26) in unbelief, then he receives no eternal life but only a severe condemnation (Heb 10:29).
(I'm picking on the same Hebrews passages and I guess we're already discussing this on the other thread.)
