Calvinism/Why God Hates

I would like to hear from our Calvinist brothers and sisters here on 'Why God Hates' ?

Here is a quote from brother Willis....

"The way God is portrayed in the bible is One who chooses according to His good will and pleasure, loves some and hates the rest, has mercy on some and hardens the others, calls some and leaves the rest in their fallen state." - convicted1.

Every Calvinist I have seen post here seems to agree with this concept that God hates the non-elect. The question for the Calvinist is 'Why does God hate them?' Could be you do not know, but I am curious as to if you do know why.

God would hate us also if we remained outside of Christ.:thumbs: It is ONLY because we Have a SURETY, our Great High Priest and MEDIATOR that we can be covered and made accepted by the blood...

Being born sinners we grow up liking sin.....it is our friend until God saves us. It is hard for sinners to grasp the evilness of any and all sin much less hate it.

1. If God is a God of Love why does He not save everyone?

2. If God is a God of Love why is anyone cast into the Lake of Fire?

God does not hate all sinners, in Fact He commended His Love to some while they were sinners Rom 5:8 ! You don't believe that God Loved The Sinners Christ died for ?

Where does it say he hates the non-elect?

Here he hates their instruction, not them personally.

There is not one verse where God says he hates any person.
Having said that you quoted from an imprecatory psalm--psalms of judgment.
Let me ask you: Would you pray like that today?
Do you pray: "Dear Lord, I pray that those that forget about you will be torn in pieces and that there will be none to deliver them." Is that your prayer also?

Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
--He didn't say: "Pray the imprecatory Psalms!!

Ask yourself these questions:

1. If God is a God of Love why does He not save everyone?

God is not one dimensional. He is just as well as merciful. Because of sin everyone stands condemned, but he choses to show his mercy to a remnant, just as he always has done from the begging of the "Book".

He must judge sin. If He did didn't, you would like that either. He casts guilty, unrepentant sinners, they are not victims. They are enemies of God.

The only puzzle is not why God choses to save only some. It's why does he chose to save any.

It seems an easy question. Is this a trick? I assumed that every Christian knew of God's hatred.

Not those Christ died for, He was condemned in their stead for their sins against God's Law ! God would be unjust to condemned them now, Justice has been served for them ! You dont believe that do you ?

Are you are asking why God hated a person pre- Fall or post- Fall? If it's the former, I see no evidence that he did. If it's the later, I have an answer.

Let me flip it around to see if that helps. You and I both are very pleased with the fact that Christ's work on the cross was attributed to us, so could I not ask, why did God love the elect (in-Christ, of course)?. We could ask, "why is it "fair" that God forgives Brian's sin just because Jesus died"? It's the same "problem, and it's a bigger problem for we who live in Western/individualistic society where we don't understand that the sin of one member of a group affects all.

Adam was our representative head, so was Christ. According to scripture, one man brought death to us, and one man brings life. It's the way God arranged things.

I am not exactly sure of the context of what the other person said about God's hate, so any other clues would help.
