So, my fellow BB readers/posters, what is the evidence that YEC's are ignorant, emotionally unhinged people? Craig's-by-the-Sea empty, unproven assertions.

    Interesting.
I can ONLY offer the following plain English. (We ARE English speaking people are we not? But for my fellow Christians around the world, I will include other languages of the same words. This will show the SAME point.)
    KJV
    Ge 1:3
¶ And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
    Ge 1:4
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
    Ge 1:5
And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
    WEB
    Ge 1:3
¶ God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
    Ge 1:4
God saw the light, and saw that it was good. God divided the light from the darkness.
    Ge 1:5
God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. There was evening and there was morning, one day.

    Ge 1:3
¶ And God seide, Liyt be maad, and liyt was maad.
    Ge 1:4
And God seiy the liyt, that it was good, and he departide the liyt fro derknessis; and he clepide the liyt,
    Ge 1:5
dai, and the derknessis, nyyt. And the euentid and morwetid was maad, o daie.
    YLT
    Ge 1:3
¶ and God saith, `Let light be;' and light is.
    Ge 1:4
And God seeth the light that it is good, and God separateth between the light and the darkness,
    Ge 1:5
and God calleth to the light `Day,' and to the darkness He hath called `Night;' and there is an evening, and there is a morning--day one.
    GEN
    Ge 1:3
¶ Then God saide, Let there be light: And there was light.
    Ge 1:4
And God sawe the light that it was good, and God separated the light from the darkenes.
    Ge 1:5
And God called the light, Day, and the darkenes, he called Night. So the euening and the morning were the first day.
    DUTCH
    Ge 1:3

    Ge 1:4
And God sawe the lyghte that it was good: and devyded the lyghte from the darcknesse
    Ge 1:5
and called the lyghte daye and the darcknesse nyghte: and so of the evenynge and mornynge was made the fyrst daye

    Ge 1:3
¶ And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
    Ge 1:4
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
    Ge 1:5
And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

As one can readily see, God did not use code words. It is plain as the text on this page. God clearly tells us what is meant by ONE DAY. There is no room to wiggle for the evolutionist. This is not hyperbole, allegorical, metaphorical, or any other such nonsense! It is LITERALLY ONE DAY as understood by every people group on earth. It is also clear that is was instantaneous and miraculous. God spoke and IMMEDIATELY it was so!!! This is BY DESIGN so no one can miss it, unless he is dishonest with the very words of God.
Sorry this was so long. I don't much like cut and paste jobs myself, but felt this was warranted.
    In HIS service;
    Jim

:D :D :D Nothing like squeezing in the last word, however lame, and then asking the moderators to close the thread before your opponents in the debate have a chance to bring to the attention of the readers the foolishness of your post. Personally, I am a Christian and a gentleman, and a humble one at that, so I am personally asking the moderators NOT to close this thread before you get a chance to say the last word. Thank you for your fellowship. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ richly bless you and your family.

Gratia vobis et pax a Deo Patre nostro et Domino Iesu Christo.

It's good to see, from your profile, that you believe in Jesus as your Creator. In that case you don't have much to worry about.

There are other topics in
the second part or third part. When the
second part of the topic is started, please
use "#2" at the start. At the end the #2 gets
lost sometimes. The second topic shouold be called:

#2 Can an Evolutionist be Saved?
