Since God has offered up His son to die for the sins of the world. Jn. 3:16 Then all man must be able to respond to the message of the gospel.

With respect, I see a rationalization that if God offered up His Son for all men, then it follows that all men must be able to respond to the Gospel.

I have to admit, that given these 5 passages ( John 3:16, 1 Timothy 2:3-4, 1 Timothy 4:10, 2 Peter 3:9, Hebrews 2:9, 1 John 2:2 ), God's word does indeed appear to agree.
However, is that all that God's word has to say on the matter?

There's over 31,000 "verses" in the Bible ( depending on which Bible you read ), and He gets into quite a bit of detail on many things.
He has much more to say about salvation than the "Romans Road";
Much more about His love than John 3:16.
Much more about His sovereignty and power than much of what is "out there" on TV and on the internet; or even in most of the pulpits...for example, Daniel 4:35, Job 9:12, Job 42:2, Psalms 115:3, Isaiah 14:27, Isaiah 43:13, Jonah 1:14 and Psalms 135:6.

God's sovereignty extends much father than what I was taught in Baptist churches when I was growing up.
Most people don't seem to like a God who does as He pleases with rebellious men who are guilty of death and eternal punishment ( Romans 1:18-32 ). :(

But then, I'm not surprised.
Most of the Bible doesn't even get read by the majority of those who profess Christ.
I only wish that so many would take this to heart:

" Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane [and] vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness."
( 2 Timothy 2:15-16 )

May God bless you.:)

There is more to the Bible than Ephesians 1:4-5, but Calvinists build their salvation theology on it, and a couple verses in Romans 9. Oh well...

Those who believe that God saves according to His purposes, believe based on far more than that, good sir.
I only wish you could see it.

The Gospel, in its entirety, glorifies God and leaves men with nothing to stand on except His amazing grace given to worthless sinners like me.:Notworthy

May His blessings abound toward you and yours.:)

Calvinist say that God would loose His sovereignty if He allowed man the free will to choose whom he would serve.
Where in the world do you get this idea? "Free will" has nothing at all to do with the freedom of choosing whom he will serve. The bible makes that very clear in Joshua 24:15.

You can't just make up a fairy tale definition of "free will" and claim "Calvinists" say it or believe it.

"Free will" is a myth. The bible makes it very clear that the will of the lost man is not free, it is in bondage to the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

People, both saved and lost, make choices every day. To say they do not and cannot, and that "Calvinists" believe such nonsense, is to deny the reality all around us.
