    As Peter declared at Pentecost:
29 “Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30 Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, 31 he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. 32 This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. 33 Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.

[Insult edited] You should come across these words of the Lord Jesus Christ:
25 Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” 27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

If you notice the language is the same. Its showing complete deity by jesus by repeating the comings of the OT by God.

So which one also is future because it didn't literal happen?

    Nahum 1

3 Jehovah is slow to anger, and great in power, and will by no means clear [the guilty]: Jehovah hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

4 He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel; and the flower of Lebanon languisheth.

5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt; and the earth is upheaved at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

    Isaiah 13
10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

    Isaiah 34
4 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

5 For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.

    Ezekiel 32
7 And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.

8 All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord God.

    Revelations 1
7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

So those who pierced him are still waiting to see him? Modern Jews did not pierce him.

You are still waiting for him to sit on the Throne?

So when do you believe this happens, If the throne of David is earthy but also has no end?

    Revelations 20
11 Then I saw a great white throne from whose presence earth and heaven fled away,no place was found for them,

where did the earthy throne go?

    Acts 2
22“Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. 23This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. 24But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. 25David said about him:

“ ‘I saw the Lord always before me.
Because he is at my right hand,
    I will not be shaken.

    26Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest in hope,
27because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
you will not let your holy one see decay.
    28You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence.’
29“Fellow Israelites, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day. 30But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne. 31Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay. 32 God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it. 33Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear. 34 For David did not ascend to heaven, and yet he said,

“ ‘The Lord said to my Lord:
    “Sit at my right hand
    until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet.” ’

36“Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”

I believe the Throne of David, is in the NEW JERUSALEM, THE CHURCH.

IMO, the eschatological events will begin with the advent of the "man of sin".

And I keep repeating stuff because no preterist can counter the FACT that the events they SAY have already happened, have NOT yet happened.

Actually, there were several mini-temples built in Egypt by Jews, the most-prominent one being on Elephantine Island in the 400s BC. Yes, there was at least one built just after Antiochus Epiphanes' reign, but I don't remember where. But one thing characterized the jews who erected them: their worship was not pure. They worshipped Egyptian, Persian, & Greek idols along with the real God.

Doc Cas is an historian who might shed more light on Jewish temples in Egypt if you ask him. He has more reference materials at hand tham I do.

You simply refuse to accept the BRUTAL TRUTH that the prophesied eschatological events did NOT occur during the generation alive when Jesus was here as a man. That inescapable FACT proves "genea" does NOT always mean "the body of mankind alive at a given time".

No one argues that "genea" OFTEN means a generation of people, but it doesn't ALWAYS mean that. I believe you know that, but you're trying to get away from the FACT that your preterism is wrong.

At jesus' ascent to heaven, He was literally, physically present, and He literally, physically ascended. the angels said He would return IN LIKE MANNER. Can't be much plainer!

    It didn't happen by CHANCE!

Innocent children were killed by the Egyptians when Moses was born. Innocent children were killed by Herod when Jesus was born, to fulfill a prophecy.

And remember, thruout all their calamities since 136 AD, the vast majority of Jews has gone right on rejecting Jesus.

The New Jerusalem hasn't come from heaven yet, and it won't til the earth is remade as God said it will be.

The "throne" of David is the RULERSHIP. Even now, a descendant of david's is ruling over Israelis somewhere, as GOD said David's dynasty would be forever, with no breaks in it. Its final, permanent ruler will be Jesus at His return. That's GOD'S words, not something I made up!

2 Samuel 7:12 “When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. 14 I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men. 15 But My mercy shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from before you. 16 And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever.”’”

While God The Father will be present in the New J as He said, I believe Jesus will be the "Prime Minister" who will handle the daily nutz-n-boltz of governing the universe.

Im sorry that you don't even understand what the argument is. Its all way over your head and thats why you have a repetitive nature.

The New Jerusalem is heavenly "all people jews and gentile, his Kingdom is the Church, He is currently sitting on "the Throne of David".

Oh my goodness, I am not even going to give a thoughtful response to anything you say, just because of that statement.
Jesus The Prime Minister doing the daily NUTZ AND BOLTZ of governing the Universe.

Yes I had a book on Daniel b y a British Israelite and he said the
    • Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
was the king of England, as he said the English kingdom was founded in about 290 BC "in the days of those kings" I also have a former foster son who goes to the Medway Revival Fellowship and they believe the Queen of England, Elizabeth , is sitting on David's throne. And that the Stone of Scone which is incorporated in the Coronation throne was previously the Stone which Scottish kings were crowned on and the fore them the Irish kings. They trace it all the way back, so they say, to the stone which was Jacob's pillow. I have been trying to get him away from there without success, so far.

I know someone else who believes something similar. He belonged to the WWCoG who have rejected that teaching but he told me he still believes it.

He said the Royal family is Jewish and that princess Diana said she was worried about marrying into the Royal family as they were Jewish. He gave no evidence though.

The thing is the Kingdom was founded in the days of those kings. It is the kingdom of Christ founded at Pentecost.

I did find a web page for the Medway group in the past but now can only find their UK site. The information I got was from a booklet that my foster son gave me for my birthday earlier this year. |As I am getting old I think I put it into our paper recycling a few weeks ago in case it should fall into others hands.
It will be his 38th birthday next Sunday, I may invite him to come over for the day.

Here ya go, off on another bunny trail/red herring. Ya CAN'T defend preterism, so ya go off on a tangent, hoping to derail the conversation away from your lack of evidence to support your false doctrine.
