They are Sneakers.

I wanted a pair, but my father refuse since he was a heel, so later I asked my mother because she was a soul.

Yes, they are sneakers, but they had a very famous name. If you look closely at the patch you will remember.

My first impression of the cassette tape and the BIC was using the pen as a capstan to loosen and perhaps rewind a tape which was wound too tightly. I am an old reel to reel guy. Mag tape has it's problems but seems more dependable and less idiosycronous than lasers--less high-tech tinkering required. This is a marketing ploy to get us to buy the latest gadget at least annually, which is about one month less than the service life anyway. Recycled electronic gadgets is a booming business, especially when we can get rid of the toxic metals in third world countries I

I do not have Facebook that I know of--probably never use it would be a better answer. I still remember Big Brother--1984. I have thrown out all televisions before the big screens came out. Now it is infomertials and skin shows galore. Satan is alive and well on planet earth--someone, Hal Lindsey?, wrote a book about that--45 years ago. Paul, the Apostle, wrote on this subject: see Romans Ch. 1. Depravity is not new to the human condition.

We are throughly conformed to this world folks--and think we do God a service.

Can the Gospel be preached without cyberspace? Let's try.

Peace,

Bro. James

I remember those things, as my memory rings,
On afternoon TV each day.
But ads can be liars; even real PF Flyers
Can't frighten Old Gravity away.
