Carter dumps on Obama

That shows how far Obama has sunk ... sort of like the Dow, his popularity is on the slide. Maybe he can pull it out, but it sure looks like his ears are back and his mind and heart are set in stone!

But, he should take notice. When you get hit in the gut by Carter, you have hit rock bottom! :tonofbricks:

Yeah, when Jimmy Carter snipes you for how you handled problems in the Middle East.... When will we ever have real leadership again?

Jimmy Carter saying anything reminds me of that quote from Annapolis. You'd think he would be happy about the perception of President Obama. The President is Mississippi to his Arkansas.

Jake Huard: Look, I don't get it. Why are you still here?

Twins: You want to know why I stay in this room?

Jake Huard:
Yeah.

Twins: Cause Jake, you're my Mississippi.

Jake Huard: I'm your what?

Twins: People who live in Arkansas, you know what their favorite state is?

Jake Huard: No.

Twins: Mississippi. Cause Mississippi's the only thing that keeps Arkansas from being the worst state in the whole country.

These politicians are not disagreeing with Obama as much as they are distancing themselves from him. If public opinion was strongly for him, they'd be standing right beside him. It is all political posturing. :BangHead:

Carter doesn't have a need to posture or distance himself from Obama.

Carter is a party man all the way. What he does he does for personal gain and the good of the party. Distancing himself from Obama is the popular thing to do. It's a bandwagon that he gladly jumped on.
