Tatertot, have you heard them in concert?

No, they were less than 2 hours away last month, and I could not go. I was so disappointed. Are you the one that posted about going?

Yes, they were awesome. Over 100 got saved that night. Tony Nolan is a great speaker also.
I'm not a big fan of Building 429, which opened for them, but overall they were great.

During intermission Mark Hall invited all youth workers downstairs to pray, and tell us how the invitation was going to work. Then gave us websites to help in our ministry.

If you ever get another chance to go to one, definately go. It is well worth it.

I will go if I ever can. That sounds great. My youth really love CC as well, and they all wanted to go. We will make it a priority.

Another thing, It amazed me to see how their music "cut" across all age ranges. There were some their from every age brackett.
A couple of our youth went with us, but most were adults. It was truly worshipful.

They are definitely a special group and I know the Lord is being glorified.

They were OK I guess, just personal taste.
They were a bit too heavy for me.
But the lead singer does have an awesome voice.

"What if His people prayed" and "If we are the body" are pretty cool. I have one cd of theirs and they are all pretty good I think.

My daughters listen to "the Voice of Truth" every night (on repeat) as they go to sleep, by their own request. They are 3 and 4.

I know when pastorSBC's church was here, one of his daughters spent several nights with us, and I believe she and her sisters listen to it at bedtime, as well.

My daughters listen to it as well, not every night, but many nights as they go to sleep. My 6 yr old daughter is also going to be working with a college student in our church to do the "The Voice of Truth" for special music.

Mark Hall was the youth minister at FBC Daytona and that's where the band got their start, playing for the youth services. They made a CD. I had it at one time, but when my teenager found out I had it and it disappeared. Some of the songs on it are the same from the Voice of Truth CD.

Do you remember the name of the CD?

I've googled until I can't google no more to find more info, but all I am coming up with is the "official" history of Casting Crowns that just mentions 2 independent records, but never the name.
