There is a revival resonating through GA College and State University in Milledgeville! Young people are getting saved, leading others to Christ, Micah's head is in the clouds...literally!God is moving through not just Micah, but lots of young, college age kids in Milledgeville, GA. You would have to hear it from him to appreciate it. His walk with Christ puts me under conviction! Thanks for asking!

 

One particular girl that Micah had been praying for, accepted Christ. Within one week she had lead 3 of her friends to our Lord. My 21 yr old daughter (Erica) goes there also, along with Micah's girlfriend (Lindsey). All of them are on fire for God. Praise to God alone for what He is doing in and through these kids. Please, everyone pray for them, as they share the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ with the next leaders of our nation. Thanks! Shane

 

Mark told me he was a great kid and a strong Christian. Good to hear things are happening.

Last year’s big winners, Casting Crowns, took home their second-in-a-row Group of the Year honor, with lead singer and Southern Baptist youth pastor Mark Hall saying that “a song may change your afternoon, but only God can change your life.”

 

Gib, Our faith is being put to the test. My wife of 22 years, had a heart attack 4/4/06. The doctors did all they could do, but we lost her. Her funeral is this sunday 4/9/06. Mark is going to sing, "Praise you in this storm" for us, and somehow Micah and a friend are going to sing "It is Well with My Soul". Please pray that God will give Micah strength while trying to sing at his mother's funeral. We're all in shock, but Mark was gracious enough to offer to sing for us, after spending the last 3 nites out of state on they're "Lifesong" tour. Tonya was 43, and in seemingly perfect health. She worked out 3-4 times a week including Cardio. God has a purpose in this! We're praying that his name will be glorified, and that souls will be saved during this time.

 

Shane, I am really sorry to hear this. I will say a prayer for you and your family.

 

Thank you very much! I'm praying that someone will accept Christ as their saviour because of this event. If that happens, it will all be worth it!

Thanks to all of you for your prayers and support. God is granting grace, right on time, every time it is needed! The 2 viewings we had today were completely packed. There was a 1-1 1/2hr wait just to get to the casket. Tonya impacted so many lives as a teacher. A whole bunch of kids and parents came up to me and told me what a difference she had made in they're lives. I'm looking for a large crowd at the funeral tomorrow with lots of unsaved individuals. Pray for the movement of the Holy Spirit on these peoples' lives. Shane
