"Catholic" Lord's prayer

Does anyone know why "For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever" is excluded in the Catholic version when the prayer is said?

During the mass this part of the prayer is said.

Logically the older manuscripts would have fewer transcription errors. Of course this doesn't hold water with those who think the KJV is more accurate than the origional autographs.
