Problem is you have to look at it by state. Nationally you wouldn't see too much of a problem, but when seeing things more locally there are problems. In my state of Florida the deaths are climbing fast. In California deaths are increasing lately. In Texas and Arizona they are surging. The problem seems to be the Northeast is doing well for new areas to flare up. If you google "coronavirus deaths" you'll get a chart to play with.
Also, as someone waiting for a Coronavirus test to come back, I know testing is overwhelmed. I was told 4-14 days for my results for my second test. 5-10 days for my first test results.
So the question then becomes, are these real hotspots or is there some shenanigans going on. I've heard some recent reports about false data from some testing sites. And this.
Reports of a Sudden Surge in Texas Coronavirus Cases Including More Than 80 Infants is FALSE, Officials Say

Despite the misreportings, I can tell you, as someone who may have COVID in Florida and is quaratined, that the hospitals, doctors offices, and testing sites are swamped. Something is going on, hey I have been careful and may have the novel Coronavirus myself.
Dont bother standing inline anywhere to get tested, either you have, or had it and it makes no difference.Despite the misreportings, I can tell you, as someone who may have COVID in Florida and is quaratined, that the hospitals, doctors offices, and testing sites are swamped. Back in March, my doctor wanted to test me. I asked him If I tested positive was he going to give me Hydroxychloriquine. He said no. I told him I did not need tested then. I said give me antibiotics for my sinus infection and I will go about my business. I am sure I had Covid, but I did not need the govt involved in the process.Despite the misreportings, I can tell you, as someone who may have COVID in Florida and is quaratined, that the hospitals, doctors offices, and testing sites are swamped. I give platelets every two weeks. Part of the standard blood testing is a test for COVID antibodies. So just donating blood will get you a free Tee Shirt, a free cholesterol test and a free test for COVID antibodies (which would mean that you had COVID and now have the immunity). I give blood on Monday and get the results by Wednesday.Back in March, my doctor wanted to test me. I asked him If I tested positive was he going to give me Hydroxychloriquine. He said no.
