Ceasefire meeting canceled

The Ceasefire meeting scheduled for Monday is canceled due to Iran attacking vessels approaching the Straits of Hormuz and Iran declaring control again.

President Trump held a meeting in the situation room today with key personnel.

Not really a surprise. “Peace” was never in the air. The US wants an end to an Iranian Nuclear Weapon program more than anything else (Iran is refusing to budge on that point). Iran wants the blockade lifted so they can get the shipment of anti-aircraft missiles that China has promised them (the US has refused to allow more Chinese AA missiles into Iran).

So now, or three days from now, or a week from now … this cease fire was guaranteed to be heading back to war.
