Let me elaborate a bit.

Revelation 6:10 tells me the world will be unaware of the seals opening. Life as usual while Heaven prepares.

Revelation 7:3 tells me the world is still unaware, and there are Christians witnessing.

Even in verse 9:20, while the world is convulsing, after the seals are all open and after the 6th trumpet, it seems God is still waiting for repentance.

But 6 verses later there can be none.

Yes, it does. However, if you came up with your own eschatological stance all by your lonesome without any influence whatsoever from a preacher or teacher or commentator, then all I can say is more power to you, brother. :)

You know as well as I do that we Christians hold a vast multitude of differing eschatological viewpoints. Fortunately, having the correct view of the details of eschatology is irrelevant to salvation. :)

It is relevant to the Gospel of Christ. I don't like to wink at, or encourage error. It's too bad you can't open up a Bible yerself and try to show me your point.

No one has mentioned the 144,000 - 12,000 from each tribe of Israel.

I suppose all the end time/future prophecies can be explained away if a person believes they are figurative and not literal.....there were scoffers in Noah's day, too, until it was too late.....

Actually, I did. revelation 7:3.

Rev. 7:3 "Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God."

Care to explain your understanding of the verse you gave?

No, I was talking to L.E.. You have already admitted that you don't study the bible.

Just curious, why are you so fearful of answering a question?

Don't believe I've ever said anything about whether I study the Bible or not. Where did you come up with that red herring?

You cop out of biblical discussions by saying you never studied that subject. You've done it recently. The question is foolish. I explained myself, and won't waste anymore time doing it again.

Brother Curtis: I was referring to verse 4 on:

[4] And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
[5] Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
[6] Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
[7] Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
[8] Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.

Good point... But if you count all the Jews from Abraham to today, 144K??? 12K from each tribe??? Doesn't sound like many will go this route and I suspect most if not all of them were pre-Christ.

i always found that interesting, Joseph gets 12K like the other tribes.

Joseph's two sons were Ephraim and Manasseh. The tribe of Joseph is perhaps referring to Ephraim (opinions vary). You will note that Dan is missing from the list. Manasseh replaced Dan. Dan is the tribe of the serpent and opinions vary on that one, too; one opinion is that the AC comes from the tribe of Dan (which I don't believe, I believe the AC will be Arab, but I could be wrong.)

And the AC will undoubtedly bring a false peace (3-1/2 years) between the Palestinians and Israel. This is another one of those prophecies which has yet to be fulfilled. But I can see it looming on the horizon. The Bible end time prophecies read like today's newspaper....or CNN. Oh, BTW, CNN hasn't broadcast the two witnesses laying dead in the streets of Jerusalem and people giving presents over their death and CNN hasn't televised them coming back to life either. Hmmmm.....must not have happened yet....
