Yesterday I had a phone chat with a local pastor of a charismatic church. My motives were an attempt to reason with the pastor, but she did not hear me out and neither of us could persuade one another. However I did notice one thing is that all her justification for the way she teaches her people to do evangelism on the streets was from her personal opinions and experiences, and she would claim things that Jesus did, but ignore what Jesus said. Allot of people these days focus much on what Jesus did, but ignore what he said. I told her that Jesus openly preached REPENTANCE and so did John the Baptist. She did affirm essential doctrine and did not claim to be a prosperity preacher, did not affirm what Joel Osteen teaches, nor WOF doctrine, so after looking a little closer my conclusion is that she is a Arminian, but not a heretic. For heretics check out these churches.

Me and the pastor could not agree on much and so we parted ways. But by her logic the way to do evangelism is to love people, and show Christ to them, but never to preach REPENTENCE FROM SIN She gave me examples of people coming to faith by her methods, and I challenged her view with the doctrine of election, but she did not like to hear this.
However perhaps I need to be more confrontational in my approach with these type. I was listening to a WOTM Podcast and Ray Comfort get very confrontational with a female heckler whom believed the way to do evangelism was to show God's love, but never to preach on sin. Ray challenged her in front of everyone and openly confronted her, it was amazing and what an example that Mr. Comfort set on how to deal with these types of people.
