Check out my first reply to you! You denied that Kennedy was a true American hero. But he defied Wallace and began the integration of Alabama schools! Name a Republican governor of the time that was for integration!!

You said, "you will get to meet not nice me." Perhaps you are a foreigner, and know neither good English, nor accurate American history. Or, perhaps you are just uneducated. I don't really care!

Listen, I am responsible for what I say, not what you dream up that I said. Don't dishonestly put words in my mouth unless you just want to further discredit yourself to the rest of the forum. I did not addressed you, yet you made the mistake of assuming I did. I have just commented my thoughts on the matter at hand.

What I said was

Wanna have some fun, ask a liberal if Dred Scot was handed down by a liberal or conservative Supreme Court? Ask them if John F. Kennedy signed Eisenhower’s 1957 civil rights.

You respond (and it was a baldface LIE) that I "made up that stuff about Kennedy". You later claim this ---> "Just stating the facts. Honest people do not become hostile."

Fact is everything I said was true.

Did J.F.K vote for the 1957 civil rights bill... NO

Lets get this into your thick head. NO JFK did not vote for the civil rights bill of 1957.

Everything else seems to be what you imagined I said. How about you just quote me word for word next time you claim I say something. Please, pretty please with cheese on it. It isn't hard, just put quote commands around my words that I actually say. So simple even a caveman can do it.

Now let me ask you a question. Should JFK of voted for the 1957 civil rights bill? He is your saint (America Hero), so answer us that (or just start ranting about Trump whom I never even voted for).

So democrat JFK voted against a civil rights bill when he thought it was in his best interests to do so and you call me a liar for pointing it out and then try to whitewash it by an event with another democrat (Yes George Wallace was a democrat). I should know, my Aunt Virginia was there at the University of Alabama helping to walk the black students into the school. All 4'10" of her.

Perhaps you are just easily confused. More likely you are just another ding-dong liberal idiot.

I am not angry. Just stating the facts. Honest people do not become hostile. The Nazis were welcome at his innagural ball. Get on Google and prove this to yourself! This friendliness toward them, I believe, means that he had them in mind as some of the "very fine people" at Charlottesville.

No that is what you want it to mean. And no nazis were not welcome at his inaugural ball. Good grief.

!
Funny. Most states that had Republican governors already had integrated schools.

>Listen, I am responsible for what I say.

I am too.

‘LowOil made up that stuff about Kennedy--but you didn't have the courage to call him out on it!”

I made a shameful mistake and I offer you my humblest apologies. You have absolutely no reason to forgive me for the way I have been treating you. My apologies to Revmitchell for involving him too.

The “stuff” about Kennedy that I objected to was not about your accurate statement concerning his vote. It was what that you carefully omitted about him in your post. Remember, there is also the deadly sin of omission, according to James.

“There were Democratic voices that you completely ignore." My example was Kennedy. Hear me out.

Kennedy was shrewd. As I understand it, he knew powerful Democrats in the South. He needed their support for a possible run. So, he voted "no" on the Senate Bill. This had nothing to do with how he felt about race. Indeed, as President, he voiced strong opposition to racial discrimination and acted forcefully against Wallace to open the schools to blacks in Alabama.

You neglected to mention this voice of strong opposition. Barkley also voiced his strong opposition. He went further though. I believe he was moving toward solutions. That's where we all need to go.

I did claim this: "Just stating the facts. Honest people do not become hostile." I do my best to state the facts. But I have been hostile, to you and Revmitchell. I have learned from this to avoid hostility in the future.

I realize, now, that you did not support Trump in the election. I wish the Electoral College had had your wisdom.

>“I should know, my Aunt Virginia was there at the University of Alabama helping to walk the black students into the school. All 4'10" of her.”

I am proud of her, too.

>Perhaps you are just easily confused. More likely you are just another ding-dong liberal idiot.

Neither. I can be very stubborn.

>Well Mr. Davis asked me to come over here and put in my two cents... I agree with what Charles Barkley said and I don't get into politics... It gets hot enough on here without going there... Been there... Done that for to long... Brother Glen
