Begins with Earthquake, Signs in Sun, Moon, Stars, Mountains Collapsing, Islands Moving!
The Lamb will open Seal Six for these Signs at a Single Word coming out of the Temple!!
This word occurs 40 times in the Book of Revelation...but only twice in Perfect Tense!!!

"Ginomai, to happen", refers to whatever events are occurring or have just taken place!
Twice it occurs in the Perfect tense at an abrupt change in God's dealings with the world!!
First, His Patience changes to Wrath; Second His Plan for Eternity sees "all things changed"!!!

With Gegonen, Rev.16:17, God's Patience Ends; With Gegonan, Rev.21:6, "All things are New".

One Word Changes the World to a Millennial Paradise and then a New Heaven and Earth Forever
Rev.16:1-17:
During 7 Last Plagues God tests mankind as men refuse to "repent and blaspheme His name"!
Suddenly a Voice coming out of the Temple, from the Throne, decrees: "Gegonen, It is Done"!!
Under those Plagues of Anger, the Temple was "filled with the smoke of God's Glory and Power"!!!

"The smoke of God's Power and Glory fills the Temple" during the Seven Last Plagues. Rev.15:8.

Rev.16:12-17 constitutes the final setting for launching the Day of Wrath with its many Events!
Rev.6:12-17 quickly follows the Decree: "It is Done"...before "God's Anger mixes with His Wrath"!!
Before that "mixture" occurs, Chiasm reveals an Inverse Order of Events that we will be discussing!!!

The Lamb opens Seal 6 for Signs of the Lastday because "God's and the Lamb's wrath has come"!
This action launches the first of 7 major events in rapid succession between noon and Twilight!!
This word "Gegonen", Rev.16:17, occurs after armies invade, rape and pillage land and people!!!

Rev.15:1 affirms Martyrs sing the Song of Moses after the Plagues are finished. Rev.15:1-8 applies to the Plagues that already had been fulfilled
but not yet described from Rev.16:1 to 16:17...So the following applies for study from now and forward:

We must be guided by the fact that "no one enters heaven's Temple until the last Plague empties"!
And the "smoke of God's glory and power" will not leave the Temple until "God's Anger is finished"!!
The Decree out of the Temple launches Lastday events when the "Lamb opens the 6th Seal"!!!

IMO, Here is Overwhelming Evidence for a Single 12-Hour "Day of God's and the Lamb's Wrath" Rev.6:17.

On the Day the Sun turns dark at Noon in Israel and Moon to a "bloody-red" in America and Westward,
the mountains have begun to crumble and the islands have begun to move out of their fixed places.
Powerful storms and giant tsunamis will have already begun to spread havoc on earth's seas and surfs.
Before the day ends the mountains will disappear and the islands will move to the nearest mainlands.

God's Anger is more like Patience without necessary connection to wrath which sends blasphemers to Hell.
His "thumos was finished" (relates to His makro-thumos; long-suffering)...both preparatory to His wrath.
That is, until His thumos (anger) mixes with wrath in the Cup of Wrath to produce a global destruction.

Seven major things occur on the Day of Wrath for the wine of anger to mix full strength in Wrath's Cup.
The 7 Plagues "finish God's thumos"; a Voice out of the Temple decrees that His Patience is exhausted.
This decree signals the Lamb to open Seal 6 for the proclamation that the "Day of God's wrath has come".
Then five more major events occur before the 7th Trumpet Angel announces that "God's Wrath has come".
The 7th major event sees all the Saints in heaven "exulting because the Wedding of the Lamb has come".

God "blesses Believers while they watch, during the 6th Plague, for Christ's coming as a thief". Rev.16:15.
His Patience continues because He is not willing that any should perish...not even those who blaspheme.
There is a limit to His Patience as the wicked kill two billion people in one hour and then invade Israel for
the raping-pillaging and be-headings until God's Patience no longer tolerates the slaughter of His People.

The view that God's wrath stretches for years arose on a theory that great tribulation means "wrath". It
was supported by a myth that God will not permit Believers to suffer this "so-called period" of His wrath.
The time of wrath cannot include the Plagues of "anger" because the Day of Wrath comes "suddenly on all
inhabitants on all the face of all the earth" when they cross the Euphrates River, Invade Israel and, being
deceived, think their target will be wiped out in three days with the Prophets dead in a street of Jerusalem.

Zechariah describes the carnage and wasting of Israel just before Tishri 15 for the Day of the Lord's wrath.
"It will be ONE day, a unique day, neither day nor night, a day known only to the Lord. On that Day
He comes with all the Saints. On that Day He becomes King of the nations". That Day begins with Signs in
the heavens, with armies of the Evil Trio having gathered to fight against the Lamb. On that Day, Day One
of the Feast of Tabernacles, 'the Lamb comes with His called, elect and faithful' to destroy the Beast and
the Ten Kings. One "Hour of Trial" allows a remnant of Israel and millions of Muslims to "beg for mercy".
Zech.14:1-16; Luke 21:25-36 (written to Jews); Rev.11:12-19; Rev.17:14; Rev.16:18-21; Rev.19:1-21.

The strongest evidence for a single Day of Wrath is another Chiasmus formed by crumbling mountains
and the total removal of islands from their ocean settings while armies are gathering to Armageddon!

By linking Rev.6:12-14 with Rev16:18-20, for a Chiasmos formed when the 7th Plague suspends in the air;
and with history's greatest quake and global aftershocks and a 3rd stage of the Storm Theophany causing
a three-way split in the City of Babylon, as armies wantonly pillage the land, the "wine of the Cup of God's
anger-filled-wrath pours out on the quake-prone faults of earth's crust and the nations' cities disappear"!!

There's not found a period of 7 years or even 30 days for the aftermath of Rev.16:12-17 or Rev.6:12-17
...for only between Rev.16:17 and Rev.16:18 (with the 7th Plague suspended ominously in the air) is there
time just for the Temple Drama of Rev.7:9-8:5 and Rev.11:15-19; and the 4 more things that "have come" to complete the 7 things that "have come" on the Day of God's wrath...with all these things occurring on the last 12-Hour Day!!!

One point is to show why the Day of God's Wrath is a single 12-Hour Day.
Another is finding the order of 22 major events occurring on the Lastday.
A third is to determine the Keys by which the Book of Revelation unfolds.

These 22 major events fulfill 100 verses of Revelation on that single Day.
They involve seven things that will "have come" to pass on the Lastday.
I see 60 verses fulfilled between Rev.16:17-18;100 verses on that Day.

The role of Chiasmus is one of 12 important Keys for studying Revelation.
I'm just beginning to understand how important they become in our study.
My opening posts, composed as we continue, set the stage for this study.

I'm not using pre-written material although my webside presents my view.
I'm accused of setting dates...but there's a 7-Year period at some point.
I seek discussion among Post-Trib "Futurists" as, IMO, it's the best view.

God's Day of Wrath "has come" and God's Wrath "has come".

These two of 7 references to what "has come" will occur on the same Day.
The 7th Trumpet ends a Three-Act Temple Drama with His "wrath has come".
All the saints in heaven are called upon to rejoice. Rev.19:1-10. They put on the linen clothes of their righteous deeds in preparation for the wedding of the Lamb.
For His Wedding also "has come". It's still the same Day. Heaven opens and Christ descends with the Martyrs...and with the 144,000 Firstfruit unto God and the Lamb.
Of all the survivors of the great tribulation, these 144,000 are "the living Firstfruit unto both God and the Lamb"!

I know the widely-held view that these are real people, and that 144,000 is a specific number. Is there any room for the view that the numbers are symbolic?

God's original plan for the 12 Tribes of Israel made provision for the punishment of Jereboam for splitting away from Judah to form the Kingdom of Ephraim and
at the same time for Dan's sinful choice of their own place of worship in the far north of Israel after failing to conquer their enemies and settle in the land that
was allotted to them.

Dan is not listed in the Chronicles for the settlement in the land after Joshua
led them into Canaan. But twelve tribes are listed because Joseph's two sons
had been adopted by Jacob as his "own sons". Gen.48:5. Jacob blessed both
Ephraim and Manasseh so that one took the place of Dan and the other took the place of Joseph in I Chronicles for the list of Jacob's descendants.
I Chron.6:60-65.

God's punishment of Dan and Ephraim continues even in the list of the 12
Tribes to be represented in the Lamb's Bride of the New Jerusalem...the eternal Temple of God and the Lamb. Rev.7:1-8; Rev.21:22; Rev.21:2,9,12,14.

Ephraim and Dan are not included among the "Firstfruit unto both God and the Lamb". The Tribes listed in Rev.7:1-8 represent both the OT and NT Saints
who are in the Body of Christ as well as the Bride of the Lamb. The Lamb will rescue the 12 Tribes (without representatives from Dan or Ephraim) and take them
from Mt. Zion to heaven as soon as they are sealed with His name. On His way to heaven, prior to His gathering of the rest of the Elect from earth on the same Day,
"the Son of Man will also FIRST reap the tares of the earth". The Lamb presents the Firstfruit to God and they sing the Song of the Lamb before the Temple Opens in heaven. Rev.14:3-4; 15:3-4.

But God will keep His original promise to the 12 Tribes during the Millennium!
Ephraim and Dan will each inherit a portion of the Land of Israel. Actually, Dan is listed first!! Ezek.48:1-7,23-29. On the East side of the Holy City of
Jerusalem there will be three gates...for Joseph, Benjamin and DAN...but no
gate for Ephraim!!! Ezek.48:30-35.

These 144,000 Jews of the 12 Tribes of Israel are represented among the Elect who will be raised up on the Lastday to literally fulfill these Scriptures!
They are among those in the Body of Christ who "overcome to the END and will be given authority over the nations!! They will rule the nations with an iron rod"
for 1000 years when "He comes as King"!!! Rev.2:25-27.

One of the 12 prime Keys to Revelation is that "no one enters the Temple in heaven until the 7 Plagues exhaust God's Patience...because it was filled with the smoke of God's power and glory"! Rev.15:8.The 144,000 Jewish "Firstfruit unto God and the Lamb" must be "redeemed from earth...from among men" and taken to heaven and join the Martyrs to "present the Son of Man to the Ancient of Days and be crowned as King of kings"!! Dan.7:13,14. As soon as they sing the Song of the Lamb and Song of Moses, "The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony in heaven was opened"!!! Rev.14:1-5; Rev.15:1-5.

All of the above occurs on the Lastday before heaven's Temple Opens. This can't be a lesson in figurative language of what is happening now.

Forty verses out of 100 in Revelation that fulfill events on the Lastday will occur before the Temple opens! Twenty-two more verses fulfill the Three-Act Drama and Christ is crowned as King!! All the Saints rejoice and then heaven opens and Christ descends to complete the final 38 verses as well as that days' 22 major events...all within 6-7 Hours!!!

What Makes the 144,000 Jews so Important in God's Plan? Rev.7:1-8; 14:1-5.

The importance begins with the reason that 2 of the original tribes are not
included among their number...just as with Judas and Matthias, who should
not be among the 12 Apostles in the New Jerusalem with Paul among the 12.

The next reason, IMO, is that they are the "Firstfruit unto both God and the
Lamb". This does not become obvious until they are "sealed with the Lamb's
name and He redeems them from earth...from among men on the Lastday".
Being the Firstfruit of both the Body of Christ AND Bride of the Lamb speaks
volumes to the awesomeness of God's Plan for His Israel as well as the Bride.


They are rescued on the Lastday because Jesus promised 4 times to "raise up
all believers on the last day...and to gather the Elect from earth" to meet Him
"at the Synagogue" in the sky when "God brings the dead in Christ with Him"!

Even the Two Prophets must rise up on the Lastday after being dead for 3.5
days while the armies of the Evil Trio plunder the land, rape its citizens and pillage their homes. "Some believers must taste death" during these 3.5 days
because Jesus warns (by His direct word and by that revealed to John) that: (1) "They will not die until after He comes in Kingdom Power" demonstrated for
1260 days through those Two Prophets and: (2) They will be avenged only when the last one is killed who must be killed". The Prophets need not rise up to heaven
during the singing of the Song of Moses; a song in which they take part before
the Temple opens in heaven!!

The Two Prophets will be resurrected physically and LITERALLY to fulfill the role of two required Witnesses in the Open Temple Court Scene of Seal 7 and Dan.7...
immediately prior to Christ's coronation and descent from heaven to raise up all the Martyrs "beheaded" for Christ (in the "First Resurrection") and to "destroy the
Kingdom of the Beast and give it to the people of the Saints"!!!
Rev.15:1-5; Dan.7:13-27; Rev.11:15-19; Rev.19:1 to Rev.20:6.

I'll be visiting my home church at First Baptist in Norfolk for a monthly home Bible study and midweek service before posting again on the 2nd day of the
Feast of Tabernacles. Some of you know that I believe this week-end is just 16 years from a possible beginning of Daniel's Prophecy of the 70th "Seven".

In the meantime, for those interested, please note the Inverse Structure of
Revelation's description of the 7 Plagues to that of the 144,000 singing the
Song of the Lamb and of the Martyrs singing the Song of Moses. The songs
anticipate the opening of "The Temple of The Tabernacle of The Testimony"
in chapter 15 after the "Plagues Exhaust God's Patience" and yet they are
not recorded until chapter 16. I think the reason for this inverse structure is to highlight the role of these two groups in preparing for Christ's coronation.

We will find a similar Chiasmos in John's portrayal of the 7 Angels appearing for and at the opening of Seal 7's Court Scene (Rev.8:2) four verses prior to
describing these 7 angels "preparing to sound their trumpets".

Their presence seems to be out of order because it precedes the action of the Court under the jurisdiction of the Angel of Fire. They appear just before
the Angel offers prayers of all the Saints, mixed with incense to God, or that of his casting "coals of fire from the altar to earth" to signify in advance
that God's wrath was about to come at the 7th Trumpet. Only 6 of the 7 angels are then described because six had sounded as of the Court Scene.

The silence in heaven could allow for the display and review of the evidence from six of the 7 Judgments having already occurred. As of the 6th Seal,
six of the 7 Plagues had "finished demonstrating God's Patience with men who blaspheme His name while continuing to shed the "blood of the Saints".
Now it is time for God's wrath...and the 7th Angel may sound the Last Trump
immediately after the Angel of Fire signifies the Verdict of Guilt upon the
armies that have already gathered to Armageddon in the 6th Plague. Mel

Overview of Events Prior to Opening the Temple in Heaven? - Rev.15:1-4.
Yesterday and today begin the Feast of Tabernacles. But it will be a Sat/Sun at the "End of Time". The Lamb Opens the 7th Seal before He is Inaugurated as King over the Earth at the 7th Trumpet!

The nearest event to the Open Temple Drama is that of singing the Song of the Lamb and the Song of Moses. The 144,000 "Firstfruit unto God and the Lamb" must first be "redeemed from earth and brought before God. "They stand on a sea of glass, holding harps of God, and sing: 'All nations and kings will come and worship Him'''.

The most important Inverse Structure in Revelation relates to the parallel passages that begin with a key phrase: "After these things", John looked and behold, "The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony was open in heaven". The first reference begins the Three-Act Temple Drama after the songs of Rev.15:1-4; the 2nd introduces the Temple being open
for the Drama . Rev.7:9; Rev.15:5.

The first reference shows the Martyrs having "come out of great tribulation and worshiping both God and the Lamb" within the Temple! The 2nd shows the Martyrs and 144,000 Jews singing their songs prior to their entrance into the Temple for Act One...after the Plagues had "exhausted God's patience"!! The 2nd reference precipitates the Drama at the End of Great Tribulation!!!

Inverse Structure relates to "Opening" the Temple in two other passages. Again the first reference occurs at the end of the Chiasm (Rev.11:19) as the 7th Trumpet proclaims: "God's Wrath has come". The 2nd reference occurs as the Temple Opens at Rev.15:5 for the Three-Act Drama. One Inverse Structure looks retroactively from Rev.15:5 to Act One of the Drama ("after these things") and the other Structure looks retroactively from Rev.15:5 to Act Three of the Drama and Christ being crowned as King ("the Temple was Open"). The Song of Moses anticipates the opening of the Temple for its
Three-Acts...Rev.7:9 to Rev.8:5 and Rev.11:12-19. The Three-Act Drama climaxes with the exact "appointed time" for Christ's Coronation and the three R's: Resurrection, Rewards and Retribution. Rev.11:15-18.

God's patience comes to an abrupt halt. His voice coming out of the temple decrees: "It is Done". The Lamb opens Seal 6 for events of the Day of Wrath while the 7th Plague remains suspended and the effects of opening Seal 6 intensify and escalate from Noon until 6 or 7 PM. Martyrs know the "unknown day and hour" have come for God to avenge their blood. Singing the songs of Moses and the Lamb occurs while the armies of the 6th Plague plunder the homes and rape the inhabitants of Israel.

The Temple Drama involves all the Saints in heaven, and is described from Rev.7:9 to Rev.8:5 and from Rev.11:15-19. It's 3 Scenes are on the verge of being fulfilled during the songs of Moses and the Lamb. Preparation for the climactic Drama involves the action of Rev.7:1-8 and Rev.14:1 to Rev.15:5.

This means Endtime events described from Rev.8:6 to Rev.11:11 (and Rev. 15:6 to Rev.16:16) occur prior to the 3-Act Drama in the Open Temple . Events of Seal 6 (Rev.6:12-17) occur after Plague #6 has "completed God's anger" with armies gathered to Armageddon. Rev.16:12-16. The Firstfruit, 144,000 Jews, are sealed with the Lamb's name. He rescues them from earth and presents them to His Father with the song of the Lamb. All Endtime events from Rev.6:1-11; Rev.8:6 to Rev.11:11; Rev.12:6 to Rev. 13:18; Rev.17:1 to Rev.18:19; Rev.16:1-16 set the stage for the Lastday.

The Temple opens and the smoke of God's power/glory clears from within. The Two Prophets arise and the Martyrs and Firstfruit unto God and the Lamb move from the scene on the glassy sea (crystal sea of fire; Dan.7) into the Temple proper at some point during the afternoon hours of the Lastday.

The passage in Rev.15:1-5, with God's patience exhausted (past tense), emphasizes the completion of the Plagues...by Inverse Reference...prior to their description in Rev.16:1-16.

The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony opens while the 7th Plague suspends in the air. The Plagues exhaust God's patience before the 7th Trumpet Angel proclaims "God's wrath has come". Seal 7's Court renders its verdict as 6 of the 7 Trumpet Judgments present incriminating evidence that issues in the verdict by the Angel of Fire. The 7th Trumpet proclaims the "appointed time to judge and reward the prophets and saints and destroy the destroyers of earth". Activation of God's Wrath in heaven converges with the implosion of the 7th Plague and outpouring of God's "Cup of Wrath" at the 7th Trumpet. All heaven rejoices. Christ descends with the Elect in heaven to gather the rest of the Elect from earth to meet Him at the Synagogue in the sky. Mark 13:27; Matt.24:31; Rev.17:14; 2 Thess.2:1.

You are right about the lack of interest in my view because nearly everyone
extends the events of the Day of the Lord over a period of time...being either
7 years (Pre-Trib view) or 30 days to a year or more for the Pre-Wrath view.

I am just testing the waters to see if anyone is challenged by my view that
100 verses will be fulfilled on the Day of God's Wrath...limited to 6 or 7 hours.

I probably will wind up the challenge as soon as I complete the other 4 of 7
major events that "have come" as of the Lastday.

From my perspective, the events of the Lastday are clearly separated from Endtime events. No one disputes that Rev.13 describes the Endtime power and persecution under the Beast. It seems clear: Five Seals, six Trumpet Judgments and six Plagues occur during a 1260-day Endtime.

Most believers consider the 7 Seals are succeeded by 7 Trumpets and then 7 Trumpets are succeeded by 7 Plagues. My view requires the passing of 5 Seals, 6 Trumpet Judgments and 6 Plagues prior to the opening of Seal 6 on the Lastday. Seal 6 opens "after great tribulation"; so the 7th Seal, 7th Trumpet and 7th Plague occur last!

This order is determined by knowing "no one enters the temple until the 7th Plague empties". Then the Martyrs and 144,000 "Firstfruit unto God and the Lamb" sing the songs of Moses and of the Lamb before God. Finally, the Temple Opens for the Three-Act Drama of Praises, Prayers and Proclamations.

I wonder how many of you know why the Three-Act Drama is so important?
What does it mean for the Martyrs to "come out from under the Altar in the Temple" and praise both God and the Lamb for the first time in all of history?
The significance of this fact is overwhelming in the climax of the Endtime
and especially for the 22 major events of the 12-Hour Day of God's Wrath.

Mel, quite frankly, your posts are too long and boring. They do not encourage discussion, but seem to be long sermons.

I have studied plenty and I know that Jesus is coming back to take me home with Him and I will be with Him forevermore. I also believe Him when He said no one knows the day or hour and I don't need to know because He has said to always be ready, which I am. My lamp is full of oil and I am ready to meet my Savior.
