Statement given today:

“There continues to be erroneous implications in the media that Chick-fil-A changed our practices and priorities in order to obtain permission for a new restaurant in Chicago. That is incorrect. Chick-fil-A made no such concessions, and we remain true to who we are and who we have been.” ~ Dan Cathy, CEO of Chick Fil-A

Latest updates on the news is that there is no news and nothing has changed, including donations. Still just people trying to make that place look bad.

I see it as their opponents declaring victory in the face of defeat. And yes , Roger I would have been disappointed if the initial reports had been true instead of bunch of Pravda.

My sins are pride and laziness. But these are not listed in the Ten Biggies thus must be misdemeanors. I can live with them.

>>How does discouraging sodomy help real Christians stop committing THEIR favorite sins?

>Pray tell, exactaly what sin are you talking about?

Seems clear to me. You all pick on sins (not listed in the Ten Biggies) which you think you or your kids will never indulge in. Unless you believe in the possibility of sinless perfection in this life and have reached that state, you commit your brand of sins every day.

Do you enjoy your brand of sins? If not, then how does carping on other people's sins help you to remove your sins? Isn't THAT not a sin? After all, Jesus forbid you to criticize another man's servant.

Then you don't know the Ten biggies. There isn't a moment in one's life they do not address.

What is sodomy but the ultimate consumation of something upon one's lusts, and what is lust except covetousness?
The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour. He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not
Discouraging sodomy may just be the motivation that gets you off your butt and turns you into a giver.

You can live with being a brother to marauders? Well, you ARE a union member . . .
He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.

NO sin is a misdemeaner. Every single one of them sent Jesus to the cross. I'd say that it's very much a capital crime.
