that is a very dumb statement to make! Surely there are thousands of very godly Christians who are Democrates, are you suggesting that they are "racist" because they are not Republican? Trump certainly comes over as a VERY racist person! Your language can start a war!

The statement is an accurate reflection of history. Your statement demonstrates your ignorance of American history.
Dems supported slavery. Dems invented the KKK to terrorize Americans of African descent. Dems invented Jim Crow segregation laws. Dems suppressed voting rights of Americans of African descent. Dems support Pl:need Par:thood, founded by a woman who desired to use abortion to suppress the black population by killing their babies.

So the “fact check” is that not every single Dem:crat supported slavery and the KKK, but only factions within the party did so.
Which does not change the historical accuracy of the initial statement that Dem:carts founded the KKK, Jim Crow segregation laws, voter suppression is of Americans of African descent, and the killing of black babies to suppress the black population.
Don’t hurt yourself commenting on issues you are obviously ignorant of.

He really does not understand our history, especially so because he is an English citizen, and would have been educated by the left, but then that is not a unique characteristic.
I had a friend born in England and grew up there in the 60's, educated there, and while he said he was Christian, he whole heartedly believes Trump is evil, compares him to Mussolini, republicans are all evil, democrats are good and is I found out, a communist at heart. Also believes social justice is more important than abortion.
I have come to the conclusion that those who claim to be Christian, yet support the left, are:
1) totally ignorant of the platform & "standards" (??) of the left,
2) are far from being a Christian,
3) are just willfully blind! --- Or some combination of the above.
