Yeah, my church supports a missionary who works in China. Xi Jinping has created a five year plan to outlaw all faiths and make Communist versions of them for the Chinese people. The concentration camps made for the Uighur population seems to be just the start of a Neo-Maoist cultural revolution. The Chinese government at this point is going pure evil, as it was under Mao. Expect our New Cold War to solidify in coming years IMO.
Thought they already did that, was called Chairman Mao little Red Book!
I think Jefferson rewrote the NT to remove supernatural events such as Jesus arising from the dead. But if you rewrite the Bible so it says what you believe, are you not then putting your faith in yourself, rather than God? Can the same observation be seen in "agenda driven" translations? I think so.

People will know even in China that the CCCP edited out the bible parts they did not like, so people being curious will still want the whole unedited books. Otherwise it is just another fake man made ideology.
I was thinking the exact same thing. It will backfire on them, God uses these kinds of things and will most likely turn it on them. China is playing for the wrong team...their days of prosperity though corruption are going to dwindle, the world is on to them and had enough of it.
