All Christians are servants of God, LE.

Show the anti-Bushites what we think of their position, Puff.

So Christians made an accusation against fellow believers without any evidence. That's unbiblical.

We are only allowed to be Christian fruit inspectors of Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Jane Fonda, Al Gore, Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson. We cannot inspect the fruit of President Bush, or we are "Bush Haters." Yet all of the aforementioned have professed to be Christians and most of the aforementioned list are Baptists. Go figure.

I have seen no one who hates President Bush.

Some do not like his policies.

Would like to see some evidence of Bush hatred.

Could the statement also be made that they are too many Bush worshippers on a "supposedly Christian board?"
Since the issue was raised, concening the original post, that there is no evidence of anyone proclaiming they "hate" Bush, where then is your evidence of anyone claiming they worship Bush? </font>[/QUOTE]I have no evidence - and that is my point. Anyone can post any charge and not back it up. That does not make it fact. Anymore than people here hate Bush.

George Washington feared two threats to America above all others. First, the corrupting influence of political parties with their spirit of faction and selfishness; and second, the weakening of the influence of religious morality on public life. On both counts he was right - the Democrats and Republicans have betrayed us, and squandered the Founders'' legacy of liberty and justice. Countless government officials in the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government take their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution with no understanding of the responsibilities that oath entails

I don't even dislike President Bush - he seems like a nice guy, I'd like to have him in for a cuppa tea.

I have some dear, dear friends whom I love deeply who are rank liberals.

I just disagree with a lot of his policies.

The attacks on President Bush's character are uncalled for. As are attacks against former Presidents. Especially for Christians. A mature Christian would not do so.

Does the following posted by you qualify as hate, or Christian love?

I'm sick of Muslim terrorist sympathizers - especially the ones at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
But I still believe that a guilty conscience needs no accuser and there have been a multutude of self serving denials on this thread when silence would have sufficed and the thread would have died. Strange!.

The problem here is your logic. Make an unsubstantiated claim and if anyone responds that means they are guilty.

Thats a new lesson in logic for me.

Good point. On the flip side, though, is that many arn't inspecting fruit. They're looking for bad fruit, not inspecting fruit as a whole. Also, they're assuming that the existence of bad fruit presumes that the person is a bad Christian, or not really a Christian at all. The problem with being a fruit inspector is that many of us have not gotten the proper inspector's license.

Jacob in the OT was a total scumbag and producer of bad fruit, yet few would question his faithfulness.
