Christian First?

There is not a need to pit one against the other. It often reaches childish levels in order to promote a left wing agenda.

When it comes down to it, what is the basic state of my soul. I'm a Christian far and above before I'm an American. As a Christian, my service is to the Almighty God. As an American, my service is to sinful man. You can't compare the two.

It's a simple question and has a simple answer : Christian.

Yes, but sort of a ridiculous question.

"What's more important, your wife & kids or... your neighbors?"

er uh gosh I dunno

Has anyone ever heard someone say that they were more American than Christian? They might act like it at times, but I never have heard anyone who knew what a Christian was according to the Bible say that.

Here is a test to find out.

If you felt like the Lord called you to service in a foreign country, but you had to give up your US citizenship, would you go?

Could we expand this to the British, Irish, Canadian, Australian, and other nationalities on this board? Or is it only an issue for Americans?

Well if you do include non Americans, I came to Wanganui for my Faith, but as New Zealand and Australia are mostly friendly, I just plopped myself down and that was it, no hassles really, but I would give up my Australian citizenship at some point I guess, I would be proud to be a New Zealander.:wavey:

Well, I am certainly not "American First"!! I'm "not Amrican, full stop", or as Americans would say, "not Amrican, period."

Question doesn't compute because there is no conflict involved, not in the USA.
No conflict involved? Ever? Does that mean that you believe every policy held and every action done by the USA is in full agreement with the Word of God?

I understood the OP to be asking about priorities. Which is more important to us - our earthly nationality, or being in Christ's kingdom, that kingdom which He tells us is not of this world?
