I think you are absolutley correct to say that the actions of God's children are of prime importance. For instance I once knew a young lady who was rather mean to me who was wearing a Christian t-shirt. It was confusing to say the least. She had this shirt on with a Bible verse but was being very mean.

You saw only a few brief moments of her life, not enough to make a judgement of her in anyway as to what kind of person or christian she is. That would be unfair.

I have tried repeatly to say that I am not saying that others who feel they need to wear dresses only, or a veil shouldn't. But that hey shouldn't feel the need to make me, nor should they take scripture out of context.

The headcovering issue is a custom related issue.
Read Pauls letter very carefully. Please do not Judge people if they wear or don't wear a headcovering. The issue is a personal one.The main point is modesty and humbleness.Sorry to tell some of you but a HAT is Not a covering. The greek word for covering means (DOWN OVER) not on top. My wife has been condemmed and our family split over this SILLY NONSENCE because she believes that her Long Hair is given to her instead of a covering. Check out the literal translation, shes right.

As I have read many of the BB posts in different threads I have to wonder if many on here could really understand the truth of the Bible.

I do not say this to be rude or unchristian but there is a lot of pride, rudeness, and the attitude I will do what I want, period that comes across on all of the BB topics.

I am not sure that the Holy Spirit could even speak to some of us because we have closed minds to those things we already have our minds made up to believe and live by.

I do not see alot of holy separation by those of us who calim to be Christians and what a joke we must be to those who that are lost and see the nasty terrible way we treat each other in the name of "Jesus Christ"

I just have to boast in the Lord today!!!!! Two of my friends both Baptists have chosen to wear the headship veiling. And two other friends are considering it!!!!!

I am not alone anymore in this. It is all because of Jesus!
