Crystal O’Connor co-owns a pizzeria in Indiana but they may close their doors permanently after being attacked for putting forth their Christian faith. When she said she would not cater a gay wedding, the shop’s website was hacked, their Yelp profile was plastered with insults and obscene pictures, and they even received death threats.

A supporter has begun a “GoFundMe” profile for the Pizzeria owners to help them weather the gay mafia storm, and they have so many people angry that they’ve received over $18,000 in donations in just two hours!

Our opposition seems not to learn. This sounds like a re-play of their Chick-a-Fil-a debacle. Attack a business and the business gets a ton of new customers and supporters.

How many people get a pizzeria to cater their wedding?

Honestly, why is a pizzeria owner even talking about catering a wedding? Do they not serve gay people food in the pizzeria either?

This is just stupid. Once again, all of this gets pointed right back at Christians and we once again look nothing like the loving Christ we say we follow.

Maybe not the post wedding reception, but I can see pizza being the focus of the rehersal dinner. I know I had pizza at mine.

Because the news team went out looking for a "small town Christian business", found this pizza place, asked if they would cater a gay wedding, the owner said "No" and the news team made it big news that this local pizza place refuses to do gay weddings.

Of course. It was a hit piece from the get-go, meant to make Christians look bad.

The question is: What would you have had the owners of the pizzeria say when they were asked?

You say:

I love all people because Jesus showed His love for me that while I was yet a sinner, He hung and died on a Cross for me so that I could be forgiven of my sin. All are welcome at the foot of the Cross and all are welcome in my restaurant. Other than THAT, I don't discuss my business practices.

STOP LETTING THE ENEMY FRAME THE CONVERSATION. If they don't like the answer you gave, say goodday. I've got to get back to work serving all my customers for whom Jesus died.

Be known for preaching the GOSPEL!!!

Franklin Graham used to be really good at doing this. If they give you such a platform, take the conversation to the Cross. You'll either get to preach to thousands or they will move on.

So, Zaac, let's take an extreme situation. You're a baker (yes, we are back to bakers) and someone comes into your business and wants you to create a cake that mocks Jesus and Christianity. Imagine whatever decoration you need for the situation.

Would you create and supply a cake that is blasphemous?

Oh my gosh! Perfect opportunity to minister to someone. Because anytime anyone attempts to do something like that I know that there is a lot of hurt in them. Someone has done something to wound this person. And the empathic part of me can generally feel the hurt.

We're gonna have a really good conversation about everything but cakes. And the Jesus Christ in me guarantees to you that when they leave, they are not gonna mind not leaving with the type of cake they came in for. I'll even give them a more positive cake on the house.:jesus:

People want to be in control. And like kids who have been bullied or molested or abused or whatever, they will find a way to scream and let you know that everything isn't alright.

We just have tohave the heart of Jesus and be willing to listen when Jesus presents the opportunity for us to hear them.
