And I'm trying to get you to respond with the only answer you can: It doesn't matter if the U.S. "caused" it or not, they would have found another reason to disagree with us.
I don't believe that is true. Japan turned from a country that hated America to an ally. The same is true with West Germany and Italy. Fortunately the US did many thing right when it came to Europe and Japan. We really messed up with China.
They, the Arab countries, did not hate us at the end of WW II. I believe many forget that. Most of them held the US in very high regard at that time.
Did any of those nations make mistakes in their foreign policies that play a part in their enemies today?
Of course. For instance, Saddam was very foolish in his decisions.
Now, please answer my question. Did the US make mistakes that help bring about the problems we face today?
So, in other words, you agree that both sides have a part in what you're ascribing to the enmity against the U.S.?
