Some day you may be called upon to fight in a civil war between Christianity and islam. What will you do? Christians are being persecuted all over the world by muslims. So if it happens in America, what will you do? Will you suffer as Nigerian Christians have done for many years, being tortured and murdered and having their families ripped apart by muslim thugs? Or will one day you decide to fight back? We are in a religious war, after all, even if it is politically incorrect to say it. And it may one day come to our shores. So let's not be so quick to condemn our Christian brothers and sisters over there being persecuted until we have walked a mile in their shoes.

Do you think it is right to kill in the name of religion, LadyEagle? If so, then what makes Christians any different than Muslims?

I don't buy into your scare tactics about a civil war in the U.S. between Christians and Muslims. You'll have to peddle that to someone else who might be gullible enough to buy into it.

For the record, no I don't. However, I do believe it is permissible in the case of self defense.

From the opening link: "Christians in this southern Nigerian city burned Muslim corpses and defaced wrecked mosques Thursday... Muslim district of about 100 homes was burned to the ground, and crumpled corrugated tin roofs lay on top of the remains of smoldering houses Thursday."

This doesn't fit a Christian definition of self defense.

    once again, I say...

Don't read "christians" here as we would define it. This mob is tagged with the moniker "christian" simply to set them apart as "non-muslims." We're letting a media outlet define a word they don't understand.

I wonder why MR DavidsonBap starts these outrageously titled threads, and then disappears for the discussion. He sure does it a lot.

Yep, and after awhile, it is considered spamming/flaming. Clearly against the board rules. So if any more of these type threads are started by him, they will be deleted pronto.

I'll bite...the titles are not outrageous. No more than say "HAMAS: We will drink the blood of Jews."
I suspected these news stories would bother the likes of some especially when the shoe falls on the other foot - Christians doing the violence against Muslims.

It's a hard thing to handle. To be objective and realize It is not only Muslims who cause chaos.

Ironically, if I had displayed news articles about Muslims being violent I may have got some support on the boards.

LOL Anyways, these stories are good to humble some Christians on this board.

Just making an observation. I offered nothing on the subject, and for you to try and crawl into my mind, and offer words for me is pretty dishonest.

Another thought or two on you assuming you know how I feel.......

I cannot do anything about Christians in other countries doing these things. But since you are fairly new here, I'll let you know a little something about me.

During the RCC sex scandal, where pervert priests were using their status as representatives of Christ's true church to sodomize young boys, and the RCC's refusal to stop it, and prosecute the guilty parties, nobody here raised their voice as loud as I did, nobody posted more news about the subject than I did, and nobody demanded the jailing of the culprits as loud as I did.

It has never been alright with me that Christians violate the law, and use their Christianity as a shield. How dare you say otherwise.

Ah, so the reason these stories are posted isn't for any meaningful discussion on the topic, it's just to "humble some Christians on this board."

It's called flaming. And therefore thread will be closed.
