Does anybody know what this guy is talking about?
Religion is not science and science is not religion. Christians should not be busybodies.

Ok well in my densness help me out. What does being a busy body have to do with Religion and Science?
Why is it necessary to simply announce that one is not the other with no other explanation or purpose announced?
The whole thing is vague and pompous.
Sounds like he's afraid to talk about science.
And the two are not necessarily mutually exclusive.
I don't know. Heck, I don't even know what the post is supposed to mean. But I think it's about science, religion and busybodies. (I couldn't find that tongue in cheek smiley).

Well one thing we know is that when someone arbitrarily puts all those words in a sentence it draws a lot of questions no one can answer. Kind of reminds me of Trump.

Since when is science none of the Christian's business? The greatest commentary on science is the Word of God.

During my early years at the university, I studied evolutionary biology and I earned degrees in that field. Subsequently, I had an encounter with Christ and was baptized in the Holy Spirit. I read through the Bible cover to cover three times, and then read through the New Testament another twelve times. I joined a church, and on the early evenings in which they had an evening service, I attended that service; and on the other early evenings I went to Christian fellowships in the community. In the late evenings, I went to a small park in the hub of the city because I could easily find people there to witness to. I saw several lives radically transformed as the people with whom I had shared the gospel and prayed for believed the gospel and prayed for Jesus to save them.
Years later, I found myself serving as the senior pastor of an interdenominational evangelical church and still had the same love for God and His word that I had from the beginning of my Christian life. Indeed, my zeal was so great that it overflowed into the lives of my associate and assistant pastors and we never closed the doors to the church before midnight. Monday through Friday evenings we held an evangelistic service at 7:00 p.m. and had a Bible study from 9:00 till 10:00. On Sunday mornings and evenings, we had a worship service, and at 2:00 on Sundays we served dinner and followed it up with a chapel service. Our graphic arts department produced two monthly publications and the Lord blessed the Church so generously that we never used the publications for fund raising, and we took up an offering only on Sunday mornings.
A young man in the church was instantly healed from a devastating injury, and a 14-year-old boy who was paralyzed when struck by a car regained the use of all of his limbs. One of our hostesses was diagnosed with an especially lethal kind of leukemia and we all saw her body deteriorating from the disease. Therefore, the other hostesses took turns praying for her every night till midnight as she lay on the floor in our prayer room too week to do anything else. She refused hospitalization, but had a blood transfusion every day. She reached the point where she had less than a week to live, and even if the leukemia were to go into remission, the disease had so seriously damaged her body that she would not be able to live even close to a normal life. Nonetheless, God totally healed that sister in Christ not only of the leukemia, but also from all of the damage that the disease had done to her body. She married a young Christian worker in the church and gave birth to four healthy children over a period of several years.
My belief in evolution never for a moment lessened my love for God and His word, and even enhanced it as I saw very clearly that human beings are born into this world as animals desperately in need of regeneration, and that belief in Christ can deliver a man or woman even from the very worst of life-controlling sins.

Which do you believe? That God created the universe, or that there was a point in which matter/energy emerged and transmuted or transformed into everything we detect, including ourselves?

Did you know that one of the greatest scientist that ever lived Sir Isaac Newton was a very religious man and true science and true religion complement each other and here are some further words on I Timothy 6:20 by that great theologian and Bible expositor John Gill... Brother Glen

the false teachers boasted of their science and knowledge, but it was not true, solid, spiritual, and saving; it was not an experimental knowledge of the Gospel; it was not the excellent knowledge of Christ, which has eternal life connected with it; it was merely notional and speculative; it was idle, empty, and useless, mere Pagan philosophy, and vain deceit, upon which they formed antitheses, or oppositions and objections to the truths of the Gospel; and even opposed themselves, and the word of God, as well as the faithful ministers of it.
(Knowledge is not determined by a "show of hands". Even though the majority of people believe something, that does not make it true. The majority today do not believe in Noah's flood, ( 2 Peter 3:4-6 ) . It was so in Noah's day also, but the unbelievers all drowned! Many fervently believe in evolution and try to compromise the scriptures with it. This verse stands as a stark warning to those who do not try everything through God's Word. ( Isaiah 8:20 )
Here is a short piece on Newton... In 1687, he published the first edition of his Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica (later translated in 1825 as The Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy), considered today to be the single greatest work in the history of science. In it, he described universal gravitation and the three laws of motion, derived from Kepler's Laws.
Though he was and still is renowned for his scientific pursuits, Newton was a serious student of the Bible and published several theological works. Even in his famed Principia, Newton exhibited his dedication to God.
This most beautiful system of the sun, planets, and comets, could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent and powerful Being....This Being governs all things, not as the soul of the world, but as Lord over all; and on account of his dominion he is wont to be called Lord God "pantokrator," or Universal Ruler!
Scientific inquiry, which then existed as Natural Philosophy, could not exist apart from "the Maker," according to Newton. In fact, science was the perfect realm in which to discuss God.

People are not animals. We are not even close. We are God's special creation. Animals are not.

This post is an excellent example of what happens when Christians mind someone else‘s business and neglect their own.
I believe what Paul wrote—but I do not believe the absurdly incorrect translation of the Greek word γνῶσις as “science.” Indeed, the Greek word γνῶσις is never used in ancient or modern Greek literature to express the concept “science,” but it is used hundreds of thousands of times in ancient and modern Greek literature to express the concept “knowledge,” including many times in the KJV. Here are a few typical examples:
Luke 1:76. And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
77. To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,
Rom 3:20. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Rom. 11:33. O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

Me too. All that is necessary is to look up the word "science" in a good dictionary to see that "science" meant general knowledge.
