This seems pointless to me. People argue about celebrating births instead if deaths, an argument out of silence.

You know what else Jesus is never recorded as doing? Deficating. Pretty sure he's not against it, though.

Wrong thread Sapper, this is "Christmas Phrases Jesus is not recorded as saying" not bodily functions Jesus was not against.

.

Now this one may qualify.

You know what my point was, and it was very much on topic of the intent of the OP. My point is, we can't say "Jesus isn't recorded as doing/saying it" and use that as an argument against it.

Come on Sapper, this is "fun and games" forum. Play the game with us.

Lol. If I misread the intent, I am sorry. On my phone app I cannot see what area of the board a thread is in. I can only see unread/read and threads I've participated in. Had I realized it was in the games forum, I'd have left it alone.

Awe Sapper it's fine!

Now that's not the Christmas Spirit, play along. You know there's a song about Rudolph not getting to play games and Santa wasn't happy!

Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Seventh Day Adventist...

John 4
[25] The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
[26] Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

Luke 13
[24] Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

John 8
[39] They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

John 8
[56] Your father
Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

POINT BEING ~

Jesus revealed He is the Christ.
Jesus revealed those who know He is the Christ shall rejoice and be glad.
Jesus revealed those who know He is the Christ shall be masses of few, compared to the whole of all of mankind.

Those who can say with belief and understanding, Merry (happy), Christ (Jesus), Mass (the many who do know), are revealing they the FEW who believe AND understand, AND shall be glad, like their father Abraham.

Matt 7
[21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Jesus revealed those WHO, carry on what He taught, DO the WILL of His Father, SHALL enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus didn't have to say Merry Christ Mass.

Jesus taught the Masses that Know He is the Christ are Merry. :)

Merry Christmas T Alan, signed, Happy. :)
