CHRISTmas truce, okay?

Things have went to the toilet on here lately, and it being the CHRISTmas season, the "most wonderful time of the year" and all. Words being shot across the bow from each side of the debate, and it saddens me that man's pride of "I'm right and you're wrong" is the prevailing theme(s) on here, over "Let us rejoice in knowning our Saviour reigns".

Let's us have a "two days truce", and rejoice in knowing this:

Luke 2:9-17
9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

And this:

Hebrews 12:1,2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

May He richly and abundantly bless both my freewill and reformed Brothers and Sisters this CHRISTmas season.

Now I know how you ended up in West Virginia, you forgot to turn left at Albuquerque, suffering succatash. May you get 1000 copies of Calvin's writings where he explains the seperation of church and state as he ruled Geneva, and how he goes into detail about the Second Great Commandment as Michael Servetus burns at the stake.

Well, once again you have left me out, as I am in neither of these fairy tale camps. The Bible calls is God's sovereignty. LOL. Hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and hope the Lord continues to bless you in the New Year. You have a great sense of humor. (for being on the midnight shift)

I think I'll design a "Burning Servetus" ornament to hang on my tree. I'll make it a lighted ornament.
