After much prayer and with a genuine heaviness of heart, a motion was made and a unanimous vote was made to close the college.

Based on CCC's Wikipedia entry (Yeah, I know they're not always "spot on" when it comes to "certain things."), the college seems to have had a fairly reputable standing (e.g., regional accreditation, NCAAA participation, etc.).

I've never been to CCC; moreover, I can't recall any mano-a-mano interfacing with any one who actually attended / graduated CCC.

Maybe, this could possibly be another indication of "the times"? raying:
