Word digger...do you mean to imply that God's Word applies to practical issues that face us??? And, further, that God expects us, as His ambassadors, to shine the light of scripture into a dark world??? You gotta be kidding, we're Baptists, man! Get 'em saved and put 'em to sleep in the pews until the rapture! Keep your hands clean, buddy! Better to fight amongst ourselves over eschatology, modes of baptism, and when to schedule the ice cream social.
Seriously, though (as if the cancerous, sinful apathy of the church in 2001 isn't serious as a heart attack) since the question was asked, I agree with you. Man was created in God's image and cloning is an advanced attempt to usurp god's authority.
Now let's all just sit back (in a very holy way in church) and let it happen. After all, we won't be around to have to explain to our great-great grandchildren why we left them with a living hell on earth.
