    Haven't a clue about "what-ifs."

I would prefer that tax-payer's money not be used for these causes. Lower taxes means more in the pocket to give charitably.

However, I think American giving would still have been spectacular.

Besides, "breaking with the party" is the norm.

According to President Bush's own words he "broke with the party" in supporting gay legal unions.

So Peroutka is just another politico?

Peroutka campaigned on no foreign aid. He said that foreign aid is unconstitutional.

Therefore, the CP has to be against the $350 million tax dollars going to aid the victims of the tidal wave (I can't spell tsunami). To me, this merely shows the awful side of the CP.

I am opposed to tax money going for relief. If Peroutka had been elected (he was only several million votes short of that goal) and had opposed US tax dollars I would have supported him.

There would have been more money in pocket for private giving. I have enough faith in the American people to trust that they would have given a massive amount in this scenario. Eveyone should have a choice in where their money is spent.

Here, CMG, we have a valid charge against the CP. Not like:
The CP has declared jihad on the Republican Party.
The CP has criticised Rumsfield for using a signature machine.
The CP claim they are the only true Christians.

    Which still await substantiation.

CMG is of the socialist/humanist mindset that only the government is capable of helping people.

He can't even comprehend the concept of private chatity, apparently.

Lets attack issues and ideologies, not individuals, please.

Oh, PJ wouldn't know what to do if he could not question everything I write. The CP cannot just simply admit that they are against the government of the USA helping in the relief of the tsunami victims.

We both just admitted it (even though I don't represent the CP).

I oppose US taxpayer money being used to help the tsunami victims.

I trust the generosity of the American people.

    Is that clear enough?

I have already posted Peroutka's comments about the $350 million in tax dollars. Maybe you would have seen it if you were not so busy with your attacks in every post you make. You are starting to sound like a broken record with your senile posts. Try answering the actuall questions, and backing up your attacks with some actuall proof.

    Quote from JGrubbs previous link:

To which I agree. Now that we have said we agree with the charge that the CP is opposed to foreign tax dollar aid for tusnami victims, will you substantiate your charges?

The CP has declared jihad on the Republican Party.
The CP has criticised Rumsfield for using a signature machine.
The CP claim they are the only true Christians.

(Yes, I am purposefully sounding like a broken record. Please either substantiate your charges or retract them so I can stop sounding like that broken record.)

C4K, with all due respect, I do not believe that I will ever get a fair shake from you or PJ or NetPub. I am not going to do anything that you ask.

In other words - there simply is no substantiation for those three charges.

    Thank you.

In other words, you are trying to make something out of nothing. You are basically dealing unfairly in order to detract from your own doings. I told you a long time ago what I thought about your work. My opinion has not changed. America is at risk. You and the CP could care less. You care so little about the poorest of the poor that you would deny foreign aid even to the victims of the tsunami. The three of you are cold-hearted guys who never give a fair shake, in my opinion.

You really haven't a clue about how much I have given to disaster relief for the tsunami victims. I enjoy giving it freely instead of having my government give it for me.

Your accusation and charge that those who disagree with you don't care about America is patently false.

How am I dealing unfaily by asking you to substantiate three specific charges you have laid?

You are the one who has claimed that anyone who voted for Peroutka is an enemy of the state - something I for one have never accused any other voter of.

Just this week I have created three eblast for a non-profit that have helped to raise thousands in support for the tsunami relief efforts. I already said if I had $350 million to give I would give it. I support charity, I just don't support stealing from someone to give to someone else. You should answer the questions that you have raised instead of dodging the issue by hurling personal accusations and attacks.

The case may be closed in your mind - but the thread is still open.

I am still looking for reasons why the CP is so evil - I haven't seen any hard evidence presented.

BTW - what I have given privately is much more than the $10 my government gave in my family's name.

    OK -

If there are no objections overnight (my time) from either side I will close this thread in the morning - a little after midnight EST.

Too bad someone can just make vicious, unsubstantiated, unkind, false, lying, evil statements and simply walk away.
