Another typical and trashy tactic.

If you can't win an election.... you do what you can to discredit and delay.

Kind of like a lot of folks here did with the president's election?

This is a two way street - we are not dealing with the godly v the ungodly. They are all corrupt and will use anything to win.

Not to derail the thread, but isn't it ironic that the death of Ted Kennedy just might be the death of health care reform.

There are some things that need to be corrected. The problem is that the libs (progressives - anything you want to call them) are trying to push way too much at one time on the American people.

Let each major option stand on its own. My goodness, even the Democrats of the two houses cant even agree with this.

One last thing. Remember when the Senate just had to pass the bill on Christmas Eve - did they do that hopping it would be on BO desk before the special election in Mass?

Roger, there you go again, pointing out there is sauce for the goose. Funny how the same sword cuts in both directions, despite partisan hacks blindness to that fact.

It could be the Brown camp, it could be a corrupt election official not associated with any campaign, it could be made up, or it could even be your conspiracy theory. We just don't know. The problem is you automatically jump to a partisan conclusion and it's so transparent and we see right through it.

If you recall we had hanging chads problems down here a few years ago. The democrats put all the blame on the republicans in Palm Beach county. In that county the head of elections was a democrat and they pushed for that ballot and had a PHD that couldn't figure out how to use it and school kids could. I didn't vote for either one, so I could stand back and see how poor it looked for the democrats to pitch one of their own under the bus to try and kill the other side. And they did it in quite a few counties back then down here.

lets see, the guy wanted to cheat so he had ballots premarked, and only 6 of them? yeah, right. only the easily lead will fall for this.

Soemone said the news release was written yesterday, like before the end of voting? or after the announcement of who won?

That remark was posted yesterday....election day.... so the news release came out on Monday or MLK day (if their post is true).... day before the election and day when its most likely to have negative impact on the vote if such allegations were believed.

Hard to know who sets up whom.... in these situations....

Whether the losing side is Dem or Rep, someone somewhare always ends up crying "fraud". Seldom is it a valid argument.

It seems the press release was written yesterday.

I believe both parties do it. They are both enamored with power. The democrats what to maintain a majority, and the republicans want to stop it. The sad thing is that neither party seem interested in the needs of the people. I will say, however, that the republicans are closer to the values of most Americans than the democrats are.

The best outcome of a Brown victory may be the defeat of this horrible health care reform. Maybe we can slow down the procedure to allow the reform that is needed, not this concoction put together by Obama, Reid, Pelosi and the other liberals in Congress.

BTW, it is nice to see that the liberals don't have total control of Massachusetts.

A great big AMEN to this!!

The Rs have a reprieve, just like they did in '94, if, IF, IF, they don't decide to become "Democrat-lite" once more!!

Scott Brown is a far cry from what I would want in a candidate - if many of his political beliefs re: abortion, homos etc that I've heard are true - but he is so far superior to the other choice that at least we're taking a small step in the right direction of returning this country to a coherent moral nation again!

If, as stated earlier, the Rs don't get all wimpy like back in '94.

Still, a real long way to go, but at least we may be turning in time (hopefully) to avoid careening off the cliff - politically, economically, morally, spiritually, ------!

Yep, both parties are guilty of selling us down the river, but the people of Mass have spoken LOUD & CLEAR, and the rest of the nation will do the same come next Nov, so both parties had better get a better feel for the people they represent or their political heads are give the guillotine operators some over-time.

And more importantly, it was not JUST about the health-care mish-mash, but fiscal responsibility, openness, arrogance etc., so there's a lot for each party to try to clean up before then.

One other point; this election went WAY TOO SMOOTH f for me to get comfortable wit it. I'm just cynical enough to suspect that the Ds foresaw this possibility, and have some plan in effect to foul things up before the state can finalize the count. Hope I'm wrong, but like I say, I'm cynical.
