Cohen to Testify Against Trump

You are a cheerleader against Trump.
I am a cheerleader for objective reality. President Trump and those who entrust their moral judgment to him are not engaging with objective reality. Since objective reality differs quite a bit from President Trump's narrative, I suppose I have no choice but to point out things that undermine the President's credibility (aka, "cheerleading").

Please stop being offended when yer lumped in with the left.
I'm not offended, it's just woefully inaccurate and you are doing it to try to discredit me. For instance, I would never lump you in with white supremacists, even though you and white supremacists generally support the President. It is simply not an ethical thing to do.

I wasn't talking. I was pointing to testimony. Do you understand?

I wasn't referring to you. Nothing Cohen says can be believed. He tried every lie in the book to get off the special prosecutor's hook and they fell for none of it. H e had nothing incriminating on Trump or they would have been more than glad to make it public.

This is just democrats keeping the narrative going.

Much of the hostile questioning today attacks the credibility of Cohen. That can be an effective tactic if there is no evidence, but there is plenty of evidence.
Cohen (to his credit as a man) attacked his own credibility first,

However we have heard that "evidence myth" (PUT UP OR SHUT UP!!) for about 2 years after millions down the toilet - funny thing about that - Mueller seems to have disappeared along with the "evidence" and the toilet.

BTW welcome back.

Apparently you didn't read his opening statement.

Cohen's opening statement.

OK granted it was hearsay innuendo which in many cases and for a great segment of the public is the Gospel which proves both our points as it certainly is a delight to the ears of Trump haters, RINOS NeoCons, Socialists and Communists.

Standard character assassination. You hear the same sort of things every day from democrats.

Yes. His credibility is not good, but he is laying out a picture that people can follow up. I suspect that much of what he has said today can easily be demonstrated by evidence the government has in its possession.

However we have heard that "evidence myth" (PUT UP OR SHUT UP!!)...
The evidence has been coming out in various indictments. Most of the specific exhibits are currently redacted, but not all of them are. If you have been carefully following the legal filings, you can see some of it.

...for about 2 years after millions down the toilet...
I know you have been wringing your hands about the cost. The last total I heard was that the Mueller investigation has spent about 25 million in the pursuit of justice. The last I have heard, the Mueller investigation has recovered more than 40 million dollars for the government, mostly from Paul Manafort's assets. So the Mueller investigation has been paying off, both financially and in terms of justice. Now you can put your mind at rest.

...funny thing about that - Mueller seems to have disappeared along with the "evidence" and the toilet
Where do you get the idea that he has disappeared? He and his team have been in court -- winning every hearing that is publicly known -- and continuing to tie up loose ends. There are a number of sealed federal indictments (more than 70) currently waiting in the District of Columbia to be unsealed. I imagine that at least a dozen of them are related to the Mueller investigation. The next people to be indicted will likely be within the Trump family (Don, Jr. looks particularly vulnerable), so there will be enormous political fallout. There will likely be a large number of indictments unsealed at once when the end comes. BTW, I think there will be indictments of both Republican and Democratic figures, so just know that I am not rooting for one side or the other.

BTW welcome back.
Thanks. Life has been busy.

You jump on every leftist talking point as proof Trump isn’t fit for office. You literally called him a criminal in this thread. Bluster all you want, I simply don’t believe you.

Bringing up white supremacists in this thread ? Yup. We all know where your head is at. You discredit yourself just fine.

If a "leftist" calls the ocean wet, should I claim it is not wet to prove that I'm not a leftist? That's nonsense.

You literally called him a criminal in this thread.
False. You really need to learn to read what I write carefully. I wrote, "IF what is being presented in even partially true... [n]ot unless you prefer criminals for Presidents."

I am all for verifying every word of his testimony and prosecuting Cohen if he is lying.

Bringing up white supremacists in this thread ? Yup. We all know where your head is at. You discredit yourself just fine.
Just pointing out what you are trying to do to me. At least I have the courtesy to point out upfront that I think it would be a mistake to lump you in with white supremacists, while you are glad to falsely assign me to a group for which you and others have contempt.

Why do you expect me to simply accept false accusations when it is to your own detriment for you to believe your own words? I would not be loving my neighbors if I didn't try to bring my neighbors back to objective reality where Jesus is Lord and truth is valued.

He lied to banks in order to secure loans.

He’s just mad he didn’t get the chief of staff gig and lashing out. His middle finger to Trump before he begins his three year (so far, they say he purgered himself numerous times this morning) jail sentence.

He wont serve the full three years as it may well be part of the deal to participate in the Trump kangaroo court when and if it happens.

Six months in a "wall less" Federal Prison then a cushy professorship at Harvard Law.

Or he's young enough to go to Harvard Medical School - Plastic Surgery anyone!?

"I think it would be a mistake to lump you in with white supremacists"
followed by "even though you and white supremacists generally support the President."

Its called insult by innuendo.

You must have me confused with someone else. I am definitely not part of the "Progressive Left." If you think I am, please name those positions and provide evidence.

please don't insult our collective deplorable intelligence as we cling to our guns and bibles.
(1) You are the one calling people here deplorable, not me. I've never said such a thing, but I will in a moment.
(2) I have been a lifelong advocate for 2nd Amendment rights. I am the owner of a couple of shotguns and several pistols, and I'm an excellent shot. I have made no secret of that here. Evidence? Here. Here and many other places. You have even participated in these discussions.
(3) Your allegation that I have contempt or pity for those who hold to scripture is deplorable. (I'm now using the word for the first time here to describe what you are doing.) My life was transformed by Jesus 40 years ago and I have spent the last 33 years actively studying and teaching the scriptures, and making Jesus known.

You simply don't know what you are talking about, or worse, you are deliberately lying in contempt of Christ's commandments.

You seem to have trouble with reading comprehension. Did you notice I said it would be a mistake? Yes, I'm sure you did since your quoted it, but that doesn't serve your purposes.

Still innuendo though which often is accompanied by a denial of what it is.

Michael Cohen, the Rat! He was a shyster lawyer (now disbarred) if there ever was one. He secretly recorded his interactions with his clients and now he has violated the lawyer/client compact. His whole appearance before the Congress was a circus, a political stunt to get President Trump. It did no good to swear him in before his testimony because he has already proven he will lie under oath (which is one of the reasons he is now going to prison). rat.jpg

He's testifying. But he's not testifying against Trump. He doesn't know anything about Trump and collusion. If he did, it would already have been leaked by Mueller's gang of thugs. He doesn't even know of anything Trump did that was illegal, or it would already have been leaked.

This hearing is not about anything more than keeping the narrative alive.

There is no Trump and collusion.

I can understand why people Christians for President Trump, but I cannot understand why so many are afraid to point out the President's lies and actions that are contrary to Christian values.

Trump's a godsend, period. HILLARY IS NOT PRESIDENT! YEEHAW!!! Trump has literally brought this country back from the brink of Godless socialism and big government control.
