You can't possibly be that naive. Powell never said he used his private phone to send or receive classified information. He said it was for personal or non-classified business.Go figure. Once again, the naysayers are proven wrong and Clinton is justified. Not a peep from the mainstream media on this.

Yes, NON-CLASSIFIED business."I even used it to do business with some foreign leaders...".
He didn't say whether or not it was classified business. But again, it confirms they DID have the type conversation that she said even if he "couldn't remember".Yes, NON-CLASSIFIED business.
It wasn't "conversations"; it was one conversation that Hillary said they had.He says "I even used it to do business with some foreign leaders...".
The point of the email was that he DID advise her on the use of the servers and the conversations he didn't "remember" them having, they actually had.
Zaac, I find it hard to believe that you're defending Hillary on this. Question is, why is it so important for you to try to make this a non-issue, when every time you do try, it gets shown (as in this posting) that you're wrong?Powell also released a statement:
General Powell has no recollection of the dinner conversation. He did write former Secretary Clinton an email memo describing his use of his personal AOL email account for unclassified messages and how it vastly improved communications within the State Department.
At the time there was no equivalent system within the Department. He used a secure State computer on his desk to manage classified information. The General no longer has the email he sent to former Secretary Clinton. It may exist in State or FBI files.

But again, it confirms they DID have the type conversation that she said even if he "couldn't remember".
So, you are accusing General Powell of committing a felony?
What evidence do you have to support that charge?
Again, I didn't say anything about him using the server for classified or unclassified information. That's not what Hillary Clinton said either. She said they had conversations where he told her to use her own server. HE said he didn't remember the conversations. This proves the conversations probably did happen just as she said.First off, one person doing something wrong doesn't relieve or lessen another's. Second, no where does it state that he used the server for classified information, and no where does he say that Clinton could.

No one said the conversations didn't happen. This is a misdirection, trying to frame the argument to something that isn't up for discussion.Again, I didn't say anything about him using the server for classified or unclassified information. I don't even know why yall are trying to skate around this. Yall know as clear as day that Colin Powell told that lady to use a private server just like he no doubt told Condoleeza Rice.
It's no secret.
She did? Did I miss something somewhere? She didn't say it made it right. She's accepted responsibility for the poor judgment.
Except he told her to do it for unclassified info. Pay attention, Zaac. You're smarter than this. But when the former SOS tells you that this is what you do and it is what other SOSs have done, you probably don't think there's much of an issue.
Who said they didn't?The conversations happened.
Please note her word-play: "marked" classified. She knows full well that the FBI already stated that with her experience, she should have known what constitutes classified or unclassified.August 26
“I know people have raised questions about my email use as secretary of state, and I understand why,” Mrs. Clinton said Wednesday. “I get it. So here’s what I want the American people to know: My use of personal email was allowed by the State Department. It clearly wasn’t the best choice. I should’ve used two emails: one personal, one for work.”
She added: “I take responsibility for that decision, and I want to be as transparent as possible, which is why I turned over 55,000 pages, why I’ve turned over my server, why I’ve agreed to — in fact, been asking to — and have finally gotten a date to testify before a congressional committee in October.”
“I’m confident that this process will prove that I never sent, nor received, any email that was marked classified,” she said.

That last statement is exactly what Colin Powell advised her.September 4
“At the end of the day, I am sorry that this has been confusing to people and has raised a lot of questions, but there are answers to all these questions,” she said. “And I take responsibility and it wasn’t the best choice.”
....
“I take responsibility, I should have had two accounts, one for personal and one for work-related,” she said. Clinton portrayed her decision to use personal email as more thoughtless than thought-out.

So that kind of thoughtlessness (her self-description) makes you comfortable with her at the helm of the nuclear button?
Colin Powell said he didn't remember any such conversations.Y'all notice how Zaac is ignoring me?
Here, let me give him another reason to ignore me.
No one said the conversations didn't happen. This is a misdirection, trying to frame the argument to something that isn't up for discussion.
The point here is that he told her he used it for unclassified emails. As evidenced by his statement that was issued BEFORE democrats released his email to Hillary--which ALSO stated "for unclassified use."
He obviously thought she was intelligent enough to know the difference between classified and unclassified information.
So either she's colossally more stupid than Colin Powell realized; or she didn't care. Either one makes her unfit for the presidency.
She did? Did I miss something somewhere?
Except he told her to do it for unclassified info. Pay attention, Zaac. You're smarter than this.
Who said they didn't?
Thoughtlessness vs narcissisticly crazy?Regarding Hillary taking responsibility for the use of the email server:
Please note her word-play: "marked" classified. She knows full well that the FBI already stated that with her experience, she should have known what constitutes classified or unclassified.

You've said you're not voting for her; so why are you defending her? Or have you changed your mind?Thoughtlessness vs narcissisticly crazy?
Hmmm.

Do you remember the conversation you had across the dinner table with your mother three years ago?Colin Powell said he didn't remember any such conversations.

Oh goodness no! I'm not defending her. I just don't give a flying hoot that she did what the two previous SOSs did. Yall been talking about these emails for 19 months now. It ain't gonna keep her out of office. You've said you're not voting for her; so why are you defending her? Or have you changed your mind?
I've said I'm not voting for Trump or Hillary; you don't see me making excuses for either of them, do you?
