My son gave me a Lifeway gift card for my b'day and today I went and purchased a Jamieson, Fausset and Brown Bible commentary.

    Did I do good?

Sure. Brief in its commentary, but good. I always like having multiple commentaries.

Thanks. I was looking for something basic in one volume that I could carry to church sometimes for SS studies.

    Yes. http://www.standardbearer.org/Shop/Detail.aspx?ID=1411

That's the copy I have. Nice copy if it is the one pictured.

Edit: I tried the link and it didn't work well. Click the catelog and then the link for commentary series. It's listed there at the top.

I use both of them and they have been a blessing to me.

But I wanted a commentary in print, as in a book that I could carry with me. :)

I downloaded esword last night, got some cool stuff too.
I really like an actual book too for study, but I know I can't afford to buy everything as a book.

I'm with you Donna. I would like to have everything in book form too, but can't afford it. A friend of mine at church has the J. Vernon McGee commentary set. I would like to have that someday.

I will check out Esword too. :)

Yes, but I don't have a book binding machine to put a hard cover on it and the ink for my printer costs more than the book I bought.

    You're so funny.
