I'll say hello and good afternoon to all, but that is about all I have to say. Very busy.....take care, my friends, and Canada is doing very nicely to-day..the sun is out, the sky is clear, and I should be outdoors.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Hi Jim! I'm glad you stopped by!

Yes, you should! You have been doing so much drawing I'm surprised you don't have writer's cramp!

Come back when you can stay and chat awhile!

Well shucks... I've got another bad tooth. No sign of an abscess tho. Oh Blackbird is going to pick on me so badly!!!

I shook so hard at the dentist office today I probably will ache all over tomorrow. Now I'm all worried about the darned thing! I HATE to worry but since my hormones are haywire... seems like I'm a hypochondriac! I keep remembering Gina saying she'd never known anyone with just ONE abscessed tooth.

    Ug........

How's that Neighborhood VBS going for your grandson Sue?

Dr. Bob, is the wife all safe and sound?

Jim.... don't over work, my friend!

    Sheila! What's up girl!

Gina, I turned on the air. I'll turn it off after supper but it's just too humid and hot!

Diane: Not another one? Does it just have a cavity or what? That's good it is not abcessed.

Grandson loves NBS! He loves church, Sunday School, King's Kids on Wednesday nights. He doesn't get to go to church very often when he is at home. [IMG] He is talking about getting saved and baptized. I am going to talk to him very thoroughly after NBS is over. I want to make sure HE is sure and understands fully. He is nine.

I would love for him to go to school here this year, but haven't been able to talk his mom into it so far. They are moving again, this will be his sixth school and he is starting to develop learning disabilities.

Sorry, I didn't mean to whine. [IMG]

Sue, it's a large cavity and 'should' be into the nerve but the dentist says it looks like my nerve drew back away from the decay. We won't know until he gets in there! UG!

Wow.... Too many schools... Maybe she'll consider it and allow him to stay and go to school there with you. Nick is 8 1/2 and is going into 3rd grade (home schooled). They're so adorable right now.

    Whining is allowed....... [IMG]

Thanks Diane: I am praying I will be able to keep him for at least a year...we shall see.

Sorry about your tooth. I hope your appointment is soon so you don't have too much time to worry. Keep us posted...

Thanks Sue. I think my major concern is how ill the antibiotics made me when I had the abscess. I don't want to have to use antibiotics for this tooth!

That would be great for you and your grandson! We'll pray for God's guidance and will!

Diane, In three hours my dentist can have them all out and the new ones installed, and not an ounce of pain...he is very good.....

Mind you, I don't recommend the plastic ones,,,you end up with an English accent! [IMG]

    Cheers,

    Jim

Thanks again Diane! If it's not abscessed, you shouldn't have to take antibiotics.

I always knew my mother was of English descent, but I couldn't figure out why I didn't sound English until I had my teeth pulled!

It is time for me to do dishes, wipe down the kitchen and start supper. I will be back a little later. Having fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, asparagus and white layered cake.

    See ya soon!

Diane--Blackbird can take care of that cavity--no pain, no mess, no needles--just lots and lots of laughin' gas---You'll need the laughin' gas when you go to payin' the receptionist!!!!!!!!

Diane, I'm choosing option "pull 'em out". It's easier than root canals and fillings! When enough go I'll get a bridge thingie.
I decided after the last episode. They said "we don't have to pull it, we'll fill it but if it starts bothering you again we'll pull it". They had to put a SUPPORT thing in to hold the filling! Two weeks later it started again and I haven't gone back yet, but I will.
Unless it's a front tooth I see no reason to keep it. You can live without one or two back teeth, and it costs less. Nobody will notice if you don't get a fake tooth right away if it's in back.
So far I have had two pulled, but the first was a back one and it was before I had the wisdom teeth surgery. That wisdom tooth behind the one pulled moved up and took it's place, so no problem. I do have a molar missing, but it's kinda fun. I show the kids whenever they don't wanna brush their teeth. :D
Just start doing stuff now to see if it'll help keep it from getting infected before you go back. Drink lots of water, don't eat anything with sugar, eat soft stuff that brushes off easy and stay away from breads and milk and other things that stick so it's stays all clean. Rinse with salt water after you brush your teeth. Swish it right on that tooth!
I personally can't wait to get dentures. How bad can it be to never have your teeth drilled again?? Sounds worth it to me! Plus it'll give me nice white teeth, right? :D

I was born in England at a time when water was not good. It rotted one's teeth. Worse is, they rotten up in the gums.

Believe me, there is nothing like your own teeth. The false one's may look ok, but they do take getting used to, and when they twist just as you are biting down on something,,,,,,,ouch,,,,,worse than any old toothache.

First time I preached, I had visions of my lowers flying over the pulpit and biting widow Brown in the front pew.

Naw, do all you can to keep your own......beside, an English accent might not become you.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Oh I just hate facing it! I'm just praying they can just fill it. I don't want false teeth! I have beautiful front teeth. My husband would kid me terribly.

Hi everyone, Stopping in for a coke and to unwind. I get so upset about "equal rights". I must keep out of those threads.

It is so wonderful in here, cool and refreshing. I'll not have anything eat...this is Pizza night.. All you can eat buffet.

Ed has decided that we need to pack at least four boxes a day in order to get everything packed to move. I think moving date will be August 4. I have packed my four boxes today.

The Art Room is all packed. No more sessions until we get to the new house. One friend will be on vacation anyway. Two friends and I paint every Tuesday and we have great fun. We just completed a still life..Teapot, wine glass, oranges, lemons, grapes, flowers and of all things a lobster on the plate. It was a challenge!!. You know it would look good on the wall over there, Sue.

    Good to see everyone.

Hi Betty! Glad your packing is coming along nicely. It is a big job! I'm still not unpacked and we've been here three months! I can't decide where I want to put my wall hangings because I'm still moving furniture around!

That painting sounds nice Betty. Bring it on over, we'll find a hook to hang it. I'm sure it will look lovely.

Pizza buffet? I've never heard of one of those. Is that all they serve? Is it several different varieties of pizza?

Where is Gwyneth? I baked sconces especially for her today! :D
