CJ: It would have gotten heated with or without your "'s... Don't worry about it. Just come here, kick back, and relax. [IMG]

Go to the first page of this thread and read it. I guarantee it doesn't read like Gina said it did. [IMG]

Thanks Diane: I will put a movie in for the boys in the family room and I can watch Monk in the living room. Now, I even forgot what channel. [IMG]

Blackbirddddddddddddddd! Been missin' you my fine feathered friend! Look for a card in your 'snail mail'. It was mailed today. [IMG]

Boys have been bathed, given a bedtime snack, watched The Penguin and the Pebble and are all fast asleep in their sleeping bags on the floor. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah. :D

They are SO sweet when they are asleep. [IMG]

    Good night all......sweet dreams.

Hey, took your advice and made an All Star Baseball poll. Working on another. They are NOT easy to make, but I enjoy making/taking them.

And as for those angels tucked into bed . . it was just yesterday that our three little munchkins would giggle and laugh and "read me another story" and quiet prayers from child-like faith.

Clutch them close, moms and dads. They always said those years would fly by . . and they do.

Okay, I'm all alone here and waxing nostalgic. Just what you need; blubbering all over the table and diluting my coffee with salty tears. [IMG]

    Good Morning All!

Boys are still sleeping so I thought I'd better come in here and relax while I have the chance. They went to sleep with their sleeping bags all in a row. This morning there is a huge gap in the middle and the bags are in the shape of a triangle!

Dr. Bob: I don't know where the time went. I look at these grandchildren and they remind me so much of when their parents were young. I miss those days too. [IMG]

Gina: After staying up late, you will need a big dose of [IMG] So when you get your [IMG] self out of bed, come on in, the pot is always on.

The boys are going to help me set up some concrete, scalloped edgers this morning. Then we are going to fill the enclosed space with "Alabama Sun" rocks so I can set my concrete lawn ornaments out that I painted last summer. They will be worn out by the time their daddy picks them up tonight!

I taught them how to paint plaster crafts yesterday and they loved it. I took them to "Plaster Palace" and let them pick out something small to start out with. One picked a shaggy dog, another a cat, and the third chose a turtle. We all sat together and painted for a few hours. They loved it and want to come over every week and paint! :D

I need to answer my emails before they wake up (I promised to cook them all a big breakfast), so I will be back a little later.

Good morning Sue and all. It is cool here this morning and looks like more rain. That should make everything grow..or shrink.

Busy weekend here. Still working on drawings and my niece is coming down to buy a farm nearby. She wants a bed and breakfast and this is an ideal farm for that.

Sue, I never did figure out what made my keyboard go crazy. I just switched back to the original keyboard that came with this computer and everything straightened out. Now I can't type French though.

Then, a hose broke on wife's motorcar and I had to drive her into Napanee (20 miles) first off. We can't get it repaired until Monday.

    Cheers for now,

    Jim

    Good Morning Jim!

You need to start relaxing more, sir! Sorry to hear about your wife's car. I don't like anything to go wrong with my car. It always costs way more to fix it than it is supposed to!

A bed and breakfast sounds nice. We have one right outside the city limits but I have never been there. I'm one who likes my own bed.

Boys and hubby are finally up and I am fixing bacon, pancakes, scrambled eggs, and hash browns for breakfast.

I will pop in later today......enjoy!

Ninety-nine!! Has your wife been "raw-hidin'" her car?? Shoot, man! Take the keys away from her if you have to!! Tell her that "Blackbird says it'll all work out for the good!"

    your buddy,
    Blackbird

Blackbird, she is more like a Baptist driver than an Anglican..I would take the keys, but she has spares. At least it went in the driveway and not on the motorway...that would have been worse.

I don't like driving the truck that far, but that is life.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Sue, this farm has an apple orchard and a maple bush, complete with the set up for collecting maple syrup, and a horse barn, and all the quipment. It is ideal for what she wants, and in a good location. Everything is in good condition.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Good...afternoon. LOL! I DID sleep in! I am glad I unplugged the phone, I had messages from 7:30 am and 8:30 am. Woke up, made breakfast, laid back down, now on here while getting motivated for a busy day.
I need to redo the desk, finish the mess from switching the lr and dr around again, then head out to the house to do laundry, mow the lawn, take care of the landscape junk, and whatever the garden needs.
If I get ENOUGH motivation going I might bleach the floors here before I go and finish when I get back. The tile is looking all icky and old. Well, it IS old!
Then the unpleasant task of figuring out bills. About once a year I skip all the bills that month. ROFL This was the month. It gest made up the next month, and the extra money goes to getting stuff for the house. Otherwise I would never get it, and since they shut off everything around here after missing one bill, I have plenty of motivation to pay it all off right away the next month. Except now after years of doing this they know I always pay the bills and quit sending the notices so I have to rely on the motivation of knowing that I won't get caught up if I don't pay in full next month. Yeah, I know, I'm WEIRD! :D
Hope you all have a good day, and good day tomorrow at church! I haven't seen my pastor in forever and even the kids said they miss him! I missed a few weeks because I was gone with Anna at the hospital, then visiting out of state, then I went back and HE was on vacation out of state!
    Ok, cul.
Man. I want a maid! LOL

Saturday noon and I'm JUST getting to the BB. With the bride coming home tomorrow night I decided to hobble into the kitchen and start the cleaning process while baking some muffins.

May be done by the time she gets home.

Hello all! What a lazy day. I slept almost NADA last night. I couldn't fall asleep and then when I did, Nick woke up and was standing by my side of the bed saying something about a cup of milk. He climbed into our full sized bed so I climbed out and went to his. I'd only been asleep about 10 mins. and was WIRED! I didn't get to sleep til after 3 and was up at 7. I am BEAT!

It got HOT here quickly today so we turned on our air and closed up the house. We're just watching the Cubs and Braves....
