    Sorry to read you have had such a bad night. I have already got my winter cough, which leaves me quite breathless at times, you have my sympathy. I hope you feel better soon. [​IMG]

    I will look forward to seeing the pics and hope Rob can make some suggestions for you [​IMG]

    I have spent most of the morning in the garden, but walking past the ironing is making me feel guilty LOL,

    I wonder if anyone else is up yet? Some of these people do like to sleep in late don't they [​IMG]

    It is cool here, but the sun is edging its way. I can usually remove my jumper by noon here.

    My net is moving so slowly this morning, it makes it uncomfortable moving about.

    I called the doctor this morning so I could get this (whatever it is) nipped in the bud (and I don't do doctors!). I actually got an appointment on Saturday!

    I am leaving in about 30 minutes, gotta get ready.

    We are having a nice restful Saturday....staying home most of the day. My husband is tired from the week and our baby is getting over a little virus she has had.

    I may get out a little later and shop for some birthday gifts for a couple of friends.

    It is a beautiful nice sunny day here.

    Rain started early this morning--just in time to make my greens come up later on--about Wednesday or Thursday--then I will have to keep um sprayed--I use Diazanon and Malathion--controls worms and such!!

    I'm trying to talk my girl into baking me some Oatmeal cookies--nothing else better to do on a rainy Saturday! Except make a big ole pot of Louisiana Gumbo!! You know, it is about that season!

    Thank you ladies for all the well wishes.

    I just got back from the doctor with 101.4º temp and SIX different medications! I am supposed to have bed rest for today and possibly tomorrow and Monday (depending on how I feel).

    I am sure it wasn't necessary to tell me that. With all these medications I will probably be VERY willing to just lay around! No bed though, I will take the recliner!

    I haven't eaten today and I need to do that with these meds. By then, I will be ready to rest. I will come back on later......I hope!

    Praying for you, Sue. It's just too lovely a fall day to be SICK!

    I have little on my plate today and WISH we had a good Civil War band to listen to!

    Still cool here. Only 50, beautiful sunshine but cool at this altitude. Have way too much bookwork for the wife's clinic, so guess that will shoot my afternoon.

    She got up, dressed in her office whites, and went g'saling for a while. They open at 8 am and her first patient isn't until 9:30 SO . . .

    I don't do well with fevers, so I sympathize with you!
    Have you seen the new thermometers out? I went to buy a mercury one and couldn't find one anywhere, they're all that earth safe people safe stuff, but work like mercury ones. Takes all the fun out of it! When they break the stuff doesn't even jiggle. LOL
    Get better chicky, and remember, lime jello and vegetable soup is your friend. :D

    We got back hime early today, ecided we were tired of being out. We did stop by a town with civil wars days going on. Thought of Dr. Bob. Lots of people in costume, and some civil war era music on the square. later tonight will be a reenactment down by the river where there were at one time some real civil war camps. First time we've ever gone to it.
    Thuink i'm just going to sit becak in teh air conditioning and watch my new movie, the Core.

    Wow! I'm so sorry to hear you're sick, Sue! I just dropped by to complain about being exhausted from my all day AWANA Fall Training. It was wonderful with two amazing preaching services and 3 classes! However, leaving home before 7 and not getting in til after 5 and all the walking... Yawn!

    Praying for you to snap right out of this, dear sister!

    Please, all, remember to pray for Elnora, Gayla, Gib, Sue, Dr. Bob and any of our friends who have special needs. First and foremost, they should be in our prayers and hearts!

    Sue - I'll be praying for you.

    Rained last night and some this morning. And I wanted to get garage parts to the dump. Well is let up enough that we got two loads to the dump. We also finished taking down the rest of the garage. We have lived in this house since 1980. It sure looks different with the garage being gone.

    Jan helped me - even though she has bronchitis - we are both tired, stiff and sore - not used to that kind of physical labor.

    Sheila, yes I have a recliner, watched the movie then went to sleep and cooked afterwards.
    Then,, Tony called and wanted a tool, so we went over. And when we got there, he had packed all his stuff and had it on the porch.
    So he's home now, said he'd even sleep on the couch till all the craft stuff is gone.
    Brought a dog with him.
    I said ok as long as I didn't have to hold it and it stayed out of my room, and he fed and walked it.
    We have a dog, and I don't think I like the idea.

    Temp is dropping (44 now at 11 pm and heading down to freezing) so just limped out on the deck to cover our cherry tomato plants. We have them in big pots (soil out here is b-a-d) along the edge of the deck. We can water them and eat 8-10 every day. Umm umm good.

    And we have two windows open and fans blowing because we have started painting. Valentine pink. Think we will "sponge" over it since it is so glaring. Our bedroom had been dull bamboo yellow (25 years) so needed sprucing up.

    But PINK!?!

    Hope it will air enough in the next hour for me to sleep. Wife already went to the guest room to get away from the odor.

    How do you spell "bordello"?

    Dr. Bob....I can certainly sympathize with the pink yuck. I am definitely not a pink person. I wonder how many other couples here have pink bedrooms, we most certainly don't. Can you not leave some colour charts around?

    It is 2:30 AM here. I was unable to sleep (even in the recliner) due to coughing so I thought I might as well come to the computer and read some posts that I missed yesterday. I will go back to the recliner in a few and try to get a little more sleep. No church for me today. :(
