Well I'm sure praying for you guys! Hope you are better really soon and get thee to a real doctor tomorrow Sue!

I just got the cutest pictures from our son of my hubby holding little Jack. So sweet! Sent them out to some of you. Didn't send any to Blackbird. Didn't want him to accuse me of porn spam! LOL. One is on baby Jack right after bath time.

Hubby holding our grandson. Click here.

I don't know how to shrink it so here's as small as I could make it on my computer. Check out hubby holding our grandson yesterday. I get to keep him in Oct. for several days while mommy and daddy go to a church seminar.

That's a boy? Oh, my. I was gonna comment on what a cute little granddaughter that was!!

I mean, "cute" but not outstanding like MY grandchildren.

It's amazing that my brilliant and talented kids married such genetically-challenged mates and then - MIRACLE OF MIRACLES - have such outstanding grandchildren for me!

Gregor Mendel would be amazed! [IMG]

Diane that grandbaby is so cute.
One picture I got had this big smile, so adorable. It was an awwww moment.
It's late and I'm off to bed to see if I keep myself awake again.
You wouldn't beleive the stuff I woke myself upw ith last night.
    :(
I sleep with my arm up under the pillow, and my hand was sticking up through between our pillows, and i must have seen it in my sleep and scared myself thinking it was someone elses hand.
If that isn't silly enough I was still partly asleep, and still didn't know it was mine, so I thought I'll wiggy my fingers and see they move.
A few minutes later I determined it was my hand.
    LOL [IMG]
the things that go through your mind when your insane
    Good night [IMG]

The bewitching hour has come and the wife headed to bed, leaving me with 5 emails to transcribe and type up for her clinic. So think I will go off line and type.

Visited with my son GrifDog during the 4th quarter of MNF - one of the greatest games on a Monday in recent years! Great way to relax on a "day off"!

Good night to all . . although I have a couple more hours before I turn in!! [IMG]

    Good Morning All!

Dr. Bob: I got up at 3 so you were probably just going to bed. No wonder you sleep til noon! [IMG]

Diane: Darling pictures. I especially like the "beef cake" one. (That's good blackmail material when they get about 18) :D

Gina: No tickets unless you run over my toes...My official title is "Auxillary Policeman", my generic title is "School Crossing Guard". [IMG]

WOW! I slept from around 11 last night until 3 this morning (only waking up coughing once)! PTL!

I think my fever broke and I almost feel like a new person. Still sore and coughing, but NOTHING like I have been. My breathing is not so labored either. I can beat anything if I can just get my rest. I'm on the mend!

Good to hear that Sue! We were praying for you. Hope you'll be able to rest some more, since you do not have to go to work - as previously planned. [IMG]

Good Morning Barnabas and thank you!

I'm still weak from lack of sleep and food. I will rest off and on today and if I get another good night's sleep tonight, I will be ready to escort several hundred kids across three streets of a four-corner intersection tomorrow (two schools, grades 1-8). No one else would take that corner, but I'm a tough old bird.

Also, hubby's birthday is tomorrow and I haven't been able to get out of the house and shop for him. I am usually NOT a last-minute person, but I will be tomorrow!

    Sue,

It's always good to learn new skills.

Watching busy corners and last minute shopping come to mind.

Glad you're feeling better - at least better enough to appreciate my warped sense of humor.

    Jim,

Jan and I went to the 60th anniversary celebration for the Corning Area Bible Club last evening.

We had a grand time. Good food - good music - good preaching.

Dr. Bob Evans, general director of BCM International, was the speaker. He had an excellent message.

Because the "Bible Club Movement" movement has expanded into church planting and disabled ministries, as well as children's ministries, they changed the name to Bible Centered Ministries (BCM International).

They are now headquartered in Lancaster County, PA.

    Have a good day.

    Dan

Offering morning greetings to all..God bless.

Rain was heavy through the night, but promises of a good day to-day,,We shall see. Threats of a possible hurricane here on Friday..Hope it isn't anything like Hurricane Hazel which hit here back in the fifties.

Busy day to-day, but should make it back now and then.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Anyone notice the BB been slow here lately. Guess people are busy.
I'm still getting messages that say this board is closed for routine maintence, is anyone else?

Dan YOU are a BRAT! [IMG] I don't do that.

I also am not acquiring new skills...

I was a crossing guard for 8 years when my kids were younger.

I can't stand last minute shopping. I ordered from Amazon. Just because I'm sick doesn't mean I can't find ways to spend money! [IMG]

Now seriously - It LOOKS like I don't "get up til noon", but that is because the BB is on evil Eastern time no matter WHEN a person posts (or from where - we in the west are only a few hours different, but think of the Aussies??)

Have lunch with the Federal judge who is working to start a Reformed Church here in Casper. Looks like formal bible studies will begin shortly to see about interest. Don't know how involved I will be - don't want to hurt my home church or the Free church at which I just finished an interim.

Then Johnny Pope from Dallas is here at one of the ifb churches for an informal afternoon fellowship time with pastors. Miss THAT lunch but will make the coffee and donuts! Have not seen him since he took over the Prestonwood Baptist Church in Dallas - we had visited there many times when living in the metroplex.

So not much time but to say "BOY HOWDY" to all!

Hey everybody! I'm running behind today too and it's 12:30 here. No excuses for me!

Uh... Oh, Jim. You're on the east coast? I didn't realize that! It looks like the hurricane is heading toward our son's house and then up to our daughter's. She's in Maine. Praying for safety for all!

Dan, It's not Sue's fault. We women forget what we were going to say, hit reply and then think of someone we didn't say Hi to or something we needed to answer.

Hi Donna! Still working on that uncraft room?

Hi Dr. Bob, we know you're up early! We all get your morning mailings! LOL.

Sue, I've already gotten some Christmas presents. I order offline too. I don't like to shop and would rather enjoy the season.......

Did I forget anyone? If so, I'll come back and get another posting credit! LOL

No, Diane, Not on the east coast...in Eastern Ontario,,,the storm is heading northwest from the Carolinas, where it is supposed to hit first. The path, according to meteorologists, is exactly the same route as Hurricane Hazel, and that puts us in direct fire.

There were about 80 deaths from Hurricane Hazel, mainly in the Toronto area, but we are better prepared this time.

    Cheers,

    Jim
