A little voice tells Blackbird to hang on to his Global Positioning Devise!!!

Doctor! I already forked over the $2.95(put it on my credit card)--wanted to see if Diane's "record" is clean!! Blackbird got to printin' it out!! I had to make an emergency trip to Wally-World last nite to pick up another ream of copy paper---I mean, Blackbird's printer was printin' so fast--it caught on fire.

Diane owes me $2.95 for the police record, $2.50 for the ream of paper(Blackbird bought the middle of line stuff) and $23.99 for another ink jet cartridge!!!(And that's the cheap refill on sale!! [IMG] [IMG]

Your Southern Baptist preachin', never been convicted buddy,

    Good morning everyone. God bless.

Hey, I police check here costs $20.00. If you printed with invisible ink, Would it takes as much paper?

    Cheers,

    Jim

LOL! You guys are nuts! Diane's record is SQUEAKY clean. Back in 1980 I was the owner of a massive and very old station wagon and while backing out of a parking lot, dented a very old and very dented vehicle. I couldn't find the owner so I called the police on MYSELF! The officer laughed his head off! He kept saying, "How could you tell you did anything to their car as bad as it is?"

That is funny, tho! Our church does yearly background checks on everyone who works with the kids. I had to fill out the papers again last night. Some of the moms were upset because they don't like it being done once a year. LOL.

    Ream of paper......... Blackbird!

    Diane,

Are you trying to say that Blackbird is given to exaggeration?

Remember, he's a Southerner - and they still think they won the civil war!!! [IMG]

    Dan

PS - Of course - you too are a southerner - but I trust that you were transplanted there from another section of the USA!!!

Dr. Bob, I'm guessing their pages are down. I can pull up these names and phone numbers but when I try to find maps, nothing happens. I even tried my own, since I knew you'd been able to find a map of my area... and nothing. I've got 3 families in my subdivision (which I can always make up the map myself) but I have 5 families from the little town of Temple. Temple is mainly backroads and I'm only familiar with one of the streets because I've gone on visitation to that subdivision before.

DAN! That's blashpemy! Diane was born in Prichard, ALA. and left Ala. for Georgia at the age of 15! Didn't leave Georgia til I married just before my 20th birthday. Lawsy Mighty man! I am a TRUE G.R.I.T.S. who married a yankee! LOL

Since being married, I've lived in Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey (while Jim was in the Army) and a few years in Fla. when he first got out of the military then Connecticut (12 years) up north and now Georgia (8 years) down south.

Us southerner's DO exaggerate and that's why some of our members get upset with me for saying bazillion. I make SURE you know I'm exaggerating so nobody can say I'm telling white lies! LOL

BTW... That site Dr. Bob linked me to gives birth years. Proves I'm telling the truth there too. But then, who would LIE and claim to be 52?

I say - "Here's hoping that a little of your time in 'Yankee' land rubbed off!"

Now that I know that you are born and bred a southern gal - it'll just give me more incentive to pick on you!!! :D

Dan - a Yankee's Yankee (and I ain't talkin bout the baseball team)!!! [IMG]

    Not medical care!

Actually, if we stay home in Canada, our dollar is worth 100 cents.

When my daughter was in Wisconsin, she came home to buy childrens clothing. It was much cheaper here even without the exchange. I am finding that prices are much the same once we balance out the exchange on the dollar.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Well Said Jim! You know, it's all relative. I can have a brand new house on an acre for $109,000 (well that was 4 years ago... now $140,000) but the salaries here are much lower than, say, California where homes are VERY expensive.

I am not familiar with university wages, but a lot of USA professors seek positions in Canadian universities. We have excellent retirement packages and good wages. Even in retirement, my income is above $60,000. with benefits, and I don't have to drive into the school every day!

Our minimum wage in Ontario is above $7.50 per hour, and of course, free medicare. Dental care is not free, but most of us have dental plans. My new teeth in total cost me $200.00 on top of my dental plan.

    Cheers,

    Jim

When we moved to Villa Rica, 4 years ago, the average income was $20,000 a year. I read a few months ago that the average income in Atlanta is $40,000.

I think most things are cheaper in the south, but then again, look at the incomes. It's all relative! I saw gasoline yesterday for $1.27 (reg.)

Popping in to see what's going on. The board is quiet today. I imagine a lot of people are watching the news on TV.
