    Good Morning Everyone!

Thanks to the stupid stomach bug, I did not get in a good days work yesterday. :( But I feel quite a bit better today, so hopefully I can make up for it. Poor Jenna has the bug this morning.

I did get further in the house than I thought, once I looked at things this morning, so all is not lost. I have to get finished though cause I have 4 blouses for the Messiah concert and a costume top for the Christmas parade to get made and I'd like to have all that done by the 26th cause I have Christmas sewing to do after that.

I'm thinking about letting the kids put the Christmas tree up this weekend. Last year it didn't seem like it was up long enough.

Since I almost feel like eating today, I brought in a breakfast casserole and some mixed fresh fruit. The coffee is hot and the tea kettle is steaming on the back of the stove.

    Ya'll enjoy your Wednesday!

    Good Afternoon Everybody,

Glad you're feeling better Cuz. Nothing more miserable than being sick when you have a lot of work to do. Are you related to Sue? She made and brought in breakfast yesterday with a broken toe, and today you bring in breakfast while battling the aftermath of stomach flu.

The doctor didn't order any tests for my MIL yesterday. He put her on two new meds. One to help her memory, and one that is a sleep aid. The doctor didn'tsee any signs of impairment that would indicate a stroke, and said that if she was having "mini-strokes" they wouldn't show up on a CT scan anyway. So we'll give these new meds a chance and see if they help.

Still haven't heard anything more on the house.

It is 60 degrees and sunny here today, tomorrow it's supposed to be cloudy with a high of 40. Tomorrow is also the opening day of firearm deer season in Michigan.

Not much going on here just enjoy the nice weather before reality hits tomorrow.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Good evening! So, I took Jo to the allergist today to test for salmon. All's clear! Woo-hoo!! She's NOT allergic to seafood! I'm so thrilled!

So, after sitting at the allergist's for 3 hours, then sitting at the pediatrician's for another 45 minutes, I'm shot. LOL - Actually Lauren is shot - she needed her menengitis shot. :)

So now Bob and I are going out to the yacht club for dinner. :) I'll see ya'll tomorrow!

    Hi folks,

MK, please keep that stomach bug in Northern Abalama. We don't need it here in South GA.

today was chemo day. Maybe only 1 left! Maybe 4 left. Will find out the latest Tumor-Marker, taken today, probably Monday.

I've got a headache, but it's medicine induced. blaachh!

    Have a good Thursday!

Oh, Sue, I think I broke a big toe two weeks ago yesterday. It's back to it's normal color instead of three shades of purple. But it's still tender.

    Good morning all,

Praying for that tumor marker, Gayla! My toe is feeling much better, but it is still black and blue.

Brent has a two-day basketball tournament today and tomorrow. This one is here at home, so I plan to attend as much as I can.

Sorry guys, you'll have to fend for yourself and dig out the left-overs in the fridge. I'll be 'snacking' at the tourney.

We have to be there at 8:00 a.m., so I'm on the run.

    HAGD!

Hmmmmmm, let me guess Cuz. Your kids have halos, right?

    Good Morning Everybody,

THAT is a picture I'd like to see posted...Sue on the run, with a broken toe.

Gayla::praying: Praying for you and that the tumor marker has a sense of direction, and knows down means.

It is 32 degrees here with a rain/snow mix. Supposed to be having a major storm around Thanksgiving.

I brought in pancakes, eggs, biscuits & sausage gravy, bacon and sausage, and hash brown potatoes. Enjoy.

Have a doctors appointment this morning and have to finish shopping for Thanksgiving.

Sometimes I walk into a room and just have no idea why I'm there. I seem to always figure out though that the solution is to be found in the refrigerator.

    Howdy Everyone!

I'm doing my best to keep that virus up here, Gayla! I'm just hoping that T doesn't catch it while he is off next week.

We had some nice rain last night that made the fall colors even prettier. My grass is now covered in leaves! I brought in some pics that Chris shot to brighten your day.

I'm headed to B'ham this evening to finally celebrate my and T's 20th anniversary. Ya'll have a good evening and I'll try to eat enough for all of us! :D

    Good Friday morning all,
    MK: Happy belated anniversary.
Rob: Your family is in my prayers.
Sue: I know what a broken toe feels like, I still had to work with mine so take it easy.
Gayla: Praying for you to feel better soon.
I brought in some biscuits, gravy, bacon, sausage, ham and scrambled eggs. There is jelly and fresh fruit in the fridge. Help yourselves. I can't stay I got to get ready for work. The bathroom I am working on is almost finished enough that the company this weekend can use it!I have to clean the shower and then it will be useable for the moment. We are only having neices this weekend so they won't care that it's not painted. The paint job will come next weekend. I had better go, I have to go to work. Have a blessed day!

    Good Morning Everybody,

Wellllllll, The sellers came back with a counter-offer late yesterday. So we adjusted our offer a little. Hopefully we'll hear back by the first part of next week. At least they're showing interest, and willing to negotiate in good-faith.

I have to admit it I'm cautiously optimistic about the new offer. What a Thanksgiving Day gift that would be.

Cuz: Your pix look great. I love the fall colors[before they fall, that is.] If you could keep that virus down South I'd appreciate it. So that's what this CDC I keep hearing about is. Silly me-I thought it was the Center for Disease Control; but it's really Cindi's Disease Control.
20 years with the same guy huh? I hope your anniversary was as special as you and T are. No pics of the "blushing bride" and her hubby?

Palagisislandgirl: Thank you so much for breakfast. With everything going on with the house offer, and my MIL's health issues, I've been running around like a chicken with his head cut off. Guess that explains the blood spatters around the house.

Thank You everybody for your prayers. You'll never know how important you and they are to me.

    Good morning all,

My keyboard broke this morning and I had to go to Brent's tournament, then go by Wal-Mart and get a new keyboard, so I'm just now getting on.

They lost their game by ONE POINT! It was a very good game, but my, oh my! I should have taken my oxygen, I got so excited. LOL

Today is my birthday so I'm not doing any work.

I'm hoping someone will take me out to supper. It doesn't seem right sitting here all by myself.

I got to meet Don from the BB at the tournament. I met him, his wife, and his two sons (one of which was playing in the tournament). We took pictures of myself and he and his wife. They are charming people. That's the second person I've met from the BB (other than family). Don usually hangs out in the computer forum and he is being deployed to Iraq December 8th. Please keep Don and his family lifted up in prayer.

Gonna fix me a bologna sandwich for lunch.

    HAGD!

Sue.....Today is your BIRTHDAY??? Well, Happy B-Day Sister! :) God's blessings be upon you friend. :1_grouphug:

Viv and I decided that we weren't going to have a regular Thanksgiving this year. We don't have the time. On Wednesday I'll be in the doctors office off and on all day, as will Vivian. On Wednesday morning I've got to get an nice infusion of iron again. Viv's got to have her elbow checked out and I've got to go back to the urologist for another possible kidney stone. They also want to scan one kidney that has a huge cyst and a test for pancreatic cancer since my grandfather died of it. So, as you can see, there's just no time to cook. I think we're going to have chili. Whatever it is, I'll be just as thankful.

I hope y'all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and have much to be thankful for. I know Viv and I have much to be thankful for this year.:godisgood:

    Blessings on y'all.

    Bro. T & Sis Vivian

Sue - Happy birthday (an hour late!) I hope you had a great day!

MAN, was my day busy! I worked, picked up Nicole who couldn't make it through school, worked some more, took Nicole to the doctor's, brought Lauren to church, worked some more, went to small group (with McD's for dinner in between), then went to pick up Lauren from youth group and worked for a few more minutes. I just need to go back to church for about a 1/2 hour tomorrow to make sure everything works for Sunday. We had new lighting in the sanctuary so I couldn't run the projector until it was too late.

Tomorrow (or really today), we're going to the movies (a real estate woman rents out the theater each year and invites a bunch of her customers and friends to see a free movie - with free bagels, juice and snacks! Pretty cool! We're seeing that Mr. whoever's Magic thing. LOL! After that we'll do swimming lessons then I'll check out the stuff for church. THEN, it's home to RELAX!!! Woo-hoo!! I'm SO looking forward to that.

If you guys can pray that Nicole gets better, I'd appreciate it. Seems her gallbladder was a little sore - don't know what that was all about. But she's having a hard time getting over whatever this is so I'd like her to just get better. Thanks!

Off to bed now that it's 10 after 1 and I need to be at the theater at 8:30AM!! Nighty night! I'll turn out the light. I left the coffee pot set up for the morning - just plug it in!

Well, it's just a little after 2am, and as my neighbor says, "He I is". It was a terribly cold day yesterday, and the night so far has been quite cold. It's going to be cold again today and tonight. Then we're supposed to be up in he 70's a couple of day next week. :tonofbricks:

Will this weather ever change to the way it's supposed to be?:BangHead:

    Good morning all,
    Sue: Happy Birthday!
I brought cinnamon rolls and juice in this morning. I am hoping there was some fresh fruit left yesterday.
Today is housecleaning day. I am hoping that my nose bleeds will stay gone and since I have averted the stomach virus so far. All the kiddos at work had it-here's hoping the house will look better when I go to bed.
    Y'all have a good day.

2 ideas for the nosebleeds - use saline nasal spray twice a day to keep the nostril moisturized, and use Afrin during a nosebleed to shrink the swollen blood vessel. They both work (from a family of chronic nose bleeders). :)

Thanks for those suggestions. I appreciate it. I usually can get them stopped pretty quickly but the one yesterday came out of nowhere. I usually use nasal spray but the humidity is really low so I should've expected it.

Oh - I know. We've already had a ton of nosebleeds - they caught me by surprise! I need to stock up on the saline spray for everyone and the afrin. SIGH - the things we need to do!

Just stopped in for a muffin and coffee before I went food shopping. Yeah - the Sunday before Thanksgiving should be nice and quiet at the supermarket, what do you think?? OY!!

But I planned out the menu for the week and plan to NOT hit the grocery store until next Sunday. Should work out well.

After that, it's doing more cleaning. Did I say how much of a dump this place is right now?? LOL - I NEED to get more cleaning done so we're ready for our guests on Wednesday.

If you guys could also pray that Nicole (my 15 year old) would feel better? She's been battling a stomach virus of some sort since Tuesday. She's not been constant but it's there and I just want her to get better AND to do school this week. Thanks!

    Good afternoon all,
Just dropping by to leave some chocolate chip cookies and grab a Mt. Dew. I need to get this dump cleaned up it is really bad! We aren't having company until Thursday so I may not sleep much Wednesday night. I am not able to do my grocery shopping until Tuesday. I am taking off work early Tuesday to go take mom to get some tests run and take dad to the doctor on Tuesday so shopping will get done after all that. I really dread it-I want it done already. I had better get back to cleaning, laundry is piling up and the carpets need cleaned badly, and the list goes on.......
Ann: one of my kiddos at work was having a hard time with the stomach virus and the doctor said to take her off of all milk products for a few days. You might try it- I don't know that it will work.
Y'all have a blessed day tommorrow.
