Hmm. I see this is turning into my own little blog again. WAKE UP!

One of my daughters had a music competition earlier. (the flute girl) She got a one. A 1 is the highest score possible. WHOO HOO!
The violin player got a 2 the other week. Her violin string BROKE just seconds before she had to walk in, so she used another violin, so that was still really awesome to be able to do it both flustered and on the one you didn't play on before!

    Very cool Gina!

Things are beginning to possibly settle down here, I think. We're all done with the funeral stuff for the friend of ours who passed away - today was the sprinkling of the ashes. Now we have another funeral of a young man who was just 14 years old when he died after a battle with cancer. So sad.

But today is going to be nice. It's going to rain for the next bunch of days so after I drop off DD at the grocery store at 2, I'll go food shopping for the week, come home, unpack everything and then do some gardening. I did one bed yesterday and I'd love to get one more bed done today if I can.

Tomorrow hubby will finally be preaching again. It's been a couple of years since he last preached (thanks to so many pastors and he being a worship leader) but he's all set to go with a great message. After that, we'll be going out for Chinese food with his parents who are traveling in to hear him (they live about an hour and a half away). With the rain tomorrow, there will be no boating so we'll just come home and relax. :) I'm looking forward to that!

They make them here where I live. The plant does M&M's (all types). Twix, and Milky Way. They also do a lot of test runs for potential new candy. I am trying to get on there.

If you are holding only one single M&M is it an M&M or just an M?

I love me some peanut M&Ms. :) I think I need some soon.....

Well, hubby is in bed. He preached two services, entertained his parents, played Wii golf with his son, had a good dinner and then played with the kids some more. MAN, you'd think he's getting old or something! ;) I have to say, I was proud of him today. He hasn't preached in a number of years (taught in classes but not preached in church) due to the fact that we have a lot of pastors and usually he's either leading worship, helping with sound or some other task but today he did a wonderful job! Even one woman who tends to be VERY critical came to him and said "I want to say something to you and I want you to pray about this. Please consider being the primary preacher at the new church instead of passing the preaching around too much. You did an amazing job and you absolutely have a gift." WOO-HOO!!!

Uh-oh. The 17 year old just came in crying. Seems hormones are working in full force. Guess I need to run. Pray for me!! AAAAKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!

So does mine, Saggy. What's wrong with yours? Mine is a chronic thing. Right side.

annsni, I feel your pain. Seriously. Three teenage girls in this house...there's always an injured bug in China or an abandoned flower in Paris to shed tears over. For some reason, the things in front of their faces, like their own parents hobbling in pain because they just stubbed a toe on a fashionable teenager-owned shoe glibly left in the middle of the floor doesn't phase them a bit. Go figure!

Mine seems to have been chronic, too. I think I have a form of tendonitis, but that is not my problem at this point. I had been on Actos, and as soon as I started taking it, my ankles started hurting. My right one felt like I had a fracture. I went to urgent care but found no "new" fracture, but smooth areas where bones probably were broken, so none of that. They said that I had a type of cellulitis, and gave me antibiotics and painkiller, which is long gone, but my pain still continued. Last week, I all of a sudden came to a realization that my Actos may be causing swollen ankles via info from my pharmacist. So I did a test and stopped taking it.

Wah Lah! The pain diminished. I am still experiencing some pain, but I am not sure today that it isn't because I didnt' take my regular NSAID in time.

Ugh. 17 year olds and hormones.

    Nothing worse.

Except 46 year olds and hormones.

We made it through the night only to hit 6am and have her crying in my room about how much pain she was in. I kept her home. Fortunately it's now 11:30 and she just woke up again but much less emotional. She actually laughed that I bought Fruity Pebbles. :)

Fruity Pebbles...I made marshmallow treats out of those before and they were very very sweet, but delish!

SW, my husband and I both took Avalox about two months ago for bronchitis. It is an antibiotic, but the results sound similar. There were even warnings on the information sheet about tendons actually snapping!
Some medications have crazy side effects!

I am nastily allergic to Avalox. Gives me horrible hives that take weeks to completely go away! Bleck!

We are working on getting Chris back to homeschooling. It has become more and more obvious that public school isn't the best option for him. (not the fault of the school at all)

That and census training is taking up my time this week. Ya'll have a one!
