I remember the commercials as a kid with the cartoon hillbilly saying “yeh hooooo Mt. Dew” as a bullet went through his hat.
“Mt. Dew” is what they used to call moonshine, at least that’s what my dad told me.

Wow! Thanks. That’s a walk down memory lane! I disremembered the hole in the hat was caused by the cork from the jug shooting off.
Id forget about the “it’ll tickle your innerards” too.
Us kids would have contests to see who could drink it the fastest. Sweet
