Today was a good day. God in at 9.45 pm.
Just had my dinner. Salmon tonight. Love the sea food, seems to help with the weight loss. Weighing in on Wednesday.

Talked to my daughter yesterday. She lives in Lanzarote (Canary Islands) in a place called Playa Blanca. The weather out there is good. Apparently 80 degrees yesterday. Still light at 6.30 pm. And we were in the dark.

They seemed to have settled ok in their new home out there. They moved out there on August 7th.

My Son wants to go out there in July when he finishes college. That would leave just me and my husband together. We have not been on our own as such for 25 years. Gosh.......... that will be something!!!

LOL Barnabas, why yes you can! People sometimes think Jim and I are 'second time around' marriages because of Nick. We used to be insulted because we're so proud of our 33 years but now we just joke about it!
Meanwhile... I've picked up a temporary job for the month of November. LONG hours for little pay but it will help. Do you like my outfit?

Brother Jim, I don't know about being the oldest. Do you mean the age or the length of BB membership? For if membership, then Dr. Bob is older by one day... although I have been roaming the BB before I became a member. But then, those days we had only a couple of forums with a few threads.

BTW, where is this thread?

We could pull his leg, but then he would be left without a leg to stand on.

Last night I was preaching at a C&MA Church. Wife does the books for them. He introduced us as: Saint James and Saint Mary....and we didn't even need papal blessings...he said Mary kept them in the books, and I kept them in the Book...I thought that was really neat.
