    Man oh man. If the SMELL of the coffee didn't wake me up, all the NOISE here of y'll chit-chatting sure would!

    60F on the way to 80. Bright sunshine. Tomorrow too. But big fall changes coming later in the week as they have projected highes in the low 50's.

    Still no word on the new baby, so will have another day here on the BB to harrass all. :rolleyes:

    Gosh Sue and Jim1999! With that wind blowing you must have had an awful time! It's so hard to make up your mind which way the wind is blowing! Just glad you didn't have damage and keep those eyes covered, Sue!

    Lovely day here! The trees are very late turning colors this year because of a moist summer! We usually take off a few days of schooling to do some Dairy Tours, Corn Mazes and outside science activities but not yet!!

    Not really Diane. And if you don't change everytime the wind does...you'll be OK.

    Swirling leaves, paint chips in my eye, dirt up my nose, bird doo doo on my shoulder....but I SHALL NOT BE MOVED! [​IMG]

    Just don't sit on the fence, when the wind is blowing, without a good anchor....you'll get blown this way and that. :eek:

    Sue, one of your state's boys (Abe Lincoln) talked about folks who were "sitting on the fence" on every issue. Called them MUGWUMPS.

    MUG was on one side of the fence, WUMP on the other! [​IMG]

    Hey, I walked down laneway to-day with a bear behind!

    A Black bear was making his way out our laneway as I was coming in. Good job he decided to take a short cut through the woods, or I might have had a word or two for him. Total of animals for to-day: one bear, 4 deer, 15 turkeys, 2 quail and a wolf. That's enough for one day. Looking forward to winter.

    A grey day and coolish. The dampness just bites right through whatever we wear to-day. I may have to stay indoors and bug people on the computer.

    I like that mugwump thing,,,has the makings of a sermon right there,,,at least it would get some attention.

    Dr. B.: I know a lot of Christian MUGWUMPS. They blow whichever way the wind does...nothing solid to stand on...

    Not me! I was out on the front stoop watching the deer at the apple tree. They are so plentiful this year and not afraid of people.

    That is a neat little package. I have never seen the likes before. Thank you, thank you, thank you..Now I just need replacement fingers to use it......lol

    And tonight is Game 3 of the World Series, so when you're out "visiting" some men folk may not be too receptive.

    Well, things sure have been quiet here at the Coffee House tonight. Probably a lot of despondency over the Marlins blowing the lead and letting the evilYankees squeek out another victory.

    Tomorrow is another day. Man, I'm sounding like a Cubs fan.

    But it is. Got a couple new magazines today, including National Geographic and they have a special on Egypt. So will spend some quality reading time in the quiet of the evening.

    Not even midnight in Wyoming, but the bewitching hour approaches. So will be a fond adieu!
