Good morning to all. It is 4:32 AM and all is well with my soul. My body is another story, but I shall survive.

Coffee and tea are fine and ready, just waiting for the fellowship that follows. It is such a delight to know God's people and all that that entails. It is even better fare to know the God of God's people, and I find my delight in this.

Morning Brother Jim! You must have slept here in the Coffee House.... Are you usually up so early?

I went to bed at around 2:00 AM this morning myself. Was watching the Yankees baseball game against the Florida Marlins. After they went extra innings, with 3-3 tie, I must have fallen asleep on the sofa and woke up after 2:00 AM. Went to bed, and now I am up again for I have to bring in our car for service. Did you gentlemen even go to bed last night???

I slept pretty well considering I slept on the couch...sure will be glad when I get that bedroom painted!

Sue's husband walks into Blackbird's Hardware Store! He's walkin' up and down the paint isle! He selects the usual Latex Eggshell white but wants Blackbird to mix a secret formula he has known Blackbird to mix for other customers in the community---because of the secret mix, it must be noted, Blackbird's hardware store surpasses sales of Wally-World and Ace combined in the hardware/paint division!

The word is all over the community in Illinois---"You've just got to get Blackbird's paint with the secret formula! Just ask 'im when you walk in his store!--"I need the secret formula, Blackbird!"---and he'll oblige!!--won't cost any extra!

Blackbird goes to the back counter to the workbench! He has the boxes of paint on the dolly---one by one he opens each lid---and puts about half ounce of surplus liquified Laughin' Gas into each can---then puts the lids back on tight and puts each can in the paint shaker!! Blackbird has specially formulated the Laughin' Gas into a liquified state in his Birdcave dentistry/medical/agricultural lab---as soon as the paint is rolled onto the walls---it begins to go into a gasous state again---time released!!

Sue's husband walks out of the hardware store--another satisfied customer!! He's got the paint and the charcoal canister breathing respirator in his hands! Making himself thus immune to the special effects of the time released paint!

When we bought this house, we should have bought a hardware store with it...

WOW! Ever since I opened that can of paint with the "secret formula", everything is funny...even when it's not!
